story concept (does not have to be followed)

Aoifee originally starts off as a human/elven ruler. A large "beast" is found wandering the forests near her castle. She orders her infantry to eliminate the creature and they are successful, however...something ends up drawing her to the forest. She comes across the slayed beast in awe, a giant kirin. There are tales that these creatures guard sacred grounds, but she doesn't know much about it. The beast ends up waking and to avenge it's death, puts a curse on Aoifee. Bands appear around her wrists and neck, forever binding her to the kirin spirit. Aoifee and her party end up traveling around the world looking for something to break the curse, but the longer she is bound the less human she becomes.
