okay so oc lore time. basically i created this character before alex and when alex was made they were meant to be a redesign of this oc. however i still used this oc for a long time afterwards before retiring them (and in that time they lost their fursona status and basically became their own character). i kind of wanted to reflect that in their relation to alex where alex is like. a clone of this characters but not necessarily an exact replica? like the elements are there but theyre both different enough to be considered their own beings. i also think they would have a weird and probably strained sibling relationship because its funny. like i dont even think alex realizes that this thing exists half the time.
