Was once a prodigy to the medical field from a young age — developing a solution that could adapt to a patients genetic code, leading to soaked 3d printed prosthetics to be viable in certain surgeries without a donor. Casanova was granted worldwide recognition for his work before eventually leaving his job after his father passed from "mysterious" ciscumstances under surgery, followed by the death of four more patients after. Despite Nova's withdrawal from the crushing weight of surviors guilt, he remains highly respected by surgeons worldwide. Nova, himself, would debate the fact.

Despite being orphaned at a young age after his mother passed unexpectedly and his father abandoning him to begin a new family elsewhere, Nova was raised by (who he now considers to be his mothers) his aunt and her wife. One of which being a retired informant, another being a retired high-ranking spy. Nova loves both dearly, willing to take a bullet for either or without hesitation. One enjoys gardening, knitting, and baking despite living with early onset dementia; the other enjoys woodwork, knife throwing, and bird watching.

Nova wound up joining an underground organization named Memento Mori, known for vigilante assassinations and the rebuilding of lives destroyed by those in power. He and his (at the time) husband were appointed as CEOs, Nova holding rank within the medical branch — rather due to familiarity than desire to return to the field after working within Memento Mori as a mortician for a short period of time.

Not many years into his time with Memento Mori, Nova was victim to an assassination attempt that lead him in ICU care for months. During this time his husband, Vincent, contracted with an incubus to sell his soul in order to grant Casanova immortality. Upon doing so, his marriage crumbled soon after Nova was released from the hospital after a year long stay. Conditions of Nova's immortality include an absense of visual lacerations despite severe pain and blood loss following. Death can occur, but death in the form of unfathomable pain alongside extended periods of shock as his body regains equilibrium.

Casanova is known to have a morbid fascination of all things dark and having to do with death. The type to admire the thorns before the rose, the dragon before the knight, the moon before the sun. A hopeless romantic at heart, guilty of wearing his heart on his sleeve even when he believes it's well hidden. Fiercly loyal to those he loves, despite the layers and walls you have to break to fully gain his trust. Polite and sensitive to those who know him, a passionate idiot who loves banter to those who truly see him.
