"Hi! I'm Yuu, from the city of Yokoshina! I'm in the first year of senior high school! Or, well, I was in the first year of senior high school. I used to get bullied a lot because I was shy and weak, but that got solved when The Earthquake happened, heheh."

One night, a terrible earthquake struck the region, and it turned Yokoshina into a mess. Massive cracks started to appear in the ground that swallowed entire homes. But the real horror started when insect-like monsters emerged from the cracks and took over the city! Some of them look like insects we know, others look completely alien. And while most of them vary between cat-sized and horse-sized, there have reportedly been sightings of shadows that were at least five stories tall...

"That's how I became an isopod! When they bite you you get infected, like a zombie virus. Sometimes it's so strong that it quickly kills you, but if it doesn't kill you, you usually end up turning into one of them. When I got bitten, I was lucky that the venom was so weak that my own body killed it before I could turn. I mostly just have a few limbs that behave differently now. Do I probably have some degree of brain damage now? Maybe. But I'm no longer reclusive! In fact, I feel the best I've ever felt! I took revenge on all my bullies and lit the school building on fire. That was pretty refreshing! Other survivors often fear the people that have half-turned, since they tend to behave unstable and brash. I have no idea what they're talking about, though. I'm only confident~"
