Conner and Twist

Personality: 
Conner is very pessimistic, and he always seems have a reason to be grouchy. Conner and Twist don't get along very well at all, and sometimes it seems like they're trying to get rid of each other.

Conner is a loner and doesn't enjoy the company of others, especially not the annoying little hound that keeps chewing on his tail.

However deep down Twist and Conner are very very close.

From Conner earliest memories, he was alone. He hunted small rodents on his own, and taught himself to fly. He eventually made his way to a small town years later and got clothes and food in exchange for the pelts of animals he caught. He was an effective hunter, and would swoop down in prey from the sky.

Conner took the name Conner when he realized that he needed something for other people to call him.

Conner had always disliked the thought of training an animal to do work for you, and would mock people who did.

When Conner met Twist, it was in the worst possible circumstance. When hunting in a storm, he was startled when lightning struck down dangerously close to him and he fell out of the sky and got his wings tangled in barbed wire.

Twist was the first creature to find him, and started to bring him small rodents and things to eat, but Conner refused to accept them. After spending more than 24 hours with his wings stuck, he started to eat what the viper dog brought him.

Eventually it got to the point where he felt hopelessly stuck and didn't even struggle when Twist chewed through his wings to free him.

Conner was devastated about the loss of his wings, but incredibly grateful to the canine that rescued him. As thanks, he used what money he had to get the rest of his wings properly removed and buy a load of salt for the creature, then he left.

To his surprise, the Viper dog started to follow him. Conner reluctantly accepted his new traveling companion, and to his disdain, had come to rely on him because he was having a hard time hunting for himself without his wings.

Conner and Twist constantly wrestle and get in fights over the smallest things, but whenever one of them leaves, they end up finding each other again.

 Tl : dr  Conner hates the idea of training animals, but ended up becoming a companion to a viperdog who rescued him.

- The gem in his head acts like a compass, he always knows which direction is which
