was in a relationship with astrid, but hook broke up w her bc he didn't think he could survive a long distance relationship once he moved...

they're in the car together and hook grips the steering weel in nerves, or they're walking and he's popping his knuckles, and eventually he has to tell her he's got to move, and that he thinks it's best they break up because of the distance, and neither of them can afford trips to see each other frequently... but all he can do is relax his shoulders against the car seat and anticipate telling her the real reason why he's selling his car, and why he's moving apartments ;;; and all of the sudden the words start flowing out of his throat and his driving gets a little shaky as he bites his lip, but he can't stop talking, and he dare not look over at astrid, but she won't take his hand when he shamefully offers it, and he's all choked up when he puts the car in park at her apartment, expecting her to get out and not say anything, and to never get a text or a call ever again but instead, she yelps and hugs his neck and asks if he's being for real and if it's a nightmare and if this was supposed to happen and he just doesn't know. he doesn't have any answer for her. he's sure that he's sorry, and that he thinks " you deserved better anyway. " and he dare not walk her inside. he just can't do it.
