hello! wings here, i just wanted to add a specific disclaimer for this version of River in particular bc i feel it's warranted:

modern River is somewhere on the psychosis spectrum, given how i interpret the nature of their character would translate into our world. i, wings, am not diagnosed w anything on the psychosis spectrum. i am neurodivergent in other ways (autism + adhd + sensory processing disorder) and very open about it, but i am Not psychotic.

as a creator and writer, i am taking special effort and consideration to avoid stigmatization and stereotyping of the psychotic community with this take on River. if you have any advice, or need to steer me away from anything offensive, please don't hesitate to shoot me a message. i want this version of River to be a respectful depiction of someone w psychosis and i am open to any advice and criticism regarding this from the psychotic community at large.
