Even though he's quite a large Jolleraptor, he can be cowardly at times and often becomes timid when someone stands up to him. While he adores his friends and tries his best to protect them, whenever someone yells at him or shows some kind of confidence, Borealis becomes intimidated and often times tries to run away. He's a very sensitive cinnamon roll and should never be hurt.

He was once a wild Jolleraptor, fending for himself and having to live a life of solitude. It wasn't until he had been found by Callahan was he taken in by the owner and given a new, happy life with others to play with. While he can sometimes be rowdy due to his wilder nature, he knows his place and will often feel really bad when scolded for breaking something, etc.
