a fluffball of energy and no common sense, fern is a self-proclaimed adventurer, signing up for every camp she can in order to make friends (usually a failed attempt) and explore the environment in search of folk legends and mythical beasts with her rag-tag team

About
YOUTH
Growing up right next to the forests, fern was lucky in being exposed to a welcoming environment which embraced shifters like her. Unluckily, she was often cast aside by peers for one reason or another, leaving her lonely for the majority of her childhood. Engrossing herself in the culture, traditions and folklores of the land she quickly became obsessed with myths and legends.

muskan [ best friend ]
muskan is fern's first, oldest and BESTEST friend. despite butting heads over safety or who's the group 'leader', they have heaps in common including being social outcasts :')
rudy [ best friend ]
originally, fern was not fond of rudy at a l l, but after forcing himself into muskan and her's friendship it didn't take long for her opinions to change
willow [ girlfriend ]
fern met willow during their rival camp's annual 'bonding day', which is less about bonding and more about competing in every way possible. fern was head over heels instantly, and the two hit it off
oliver [ best friend ]
oliver was a latecomer to the group, joining camp yarrow much older. he quickly found his way into the group by matching fern's chaotic energy and openly simping for muskan, (fern is his number 1 wingman)
beau [ family friend + mentor ]
beau is fern's family friend who became a ranger at camp yarrow whilst she attended.
rey [ mentor ]
rey has been a ranger at camp yarrow for fern's duration. he is a great role model and she looks up to him fondly
