About
"Tom Spriker" lived a quiet life in a coastal part of Oracelan, undetected by his city's surveillance program. However, his peace was broken when a computer connected him to one of his older, amateur internet identities. That led the police chase after him and his adopted child, Lex. Their adventure led one of the kinder policemen join their "family" and they were able to run off to safety... until a tsunami occured and destroyed almost half of the entire country. Amongst the rubble, Tom was able to rebuild his life anew with Lex and his cop "friend".
A few years later, his friend leaves him for a better, lawful life... and dies in a tragic wildfire accident, which causes Tom to fall in despair. Lex pops in and out of the house more often, leaving him more alone than ever. It is a miracle that an... alien falls into his arms... literally???

| Coding | Tom has been coding ever since he was a little kid. His programming skills have led him to a life of peace and seclusion, as he is able to roam the city undetected and anonymous. After the tsunami he was naively employed to rebuild the system, allowing him to make more backdoors than ever before. | |

Design Notes
Tom was initially designed with one colour combination in mind: red, blue and grey, pretty standard. However, the initial story he was based in gave him the cat ears he wears to this day (fun fact: they were given to him by his adopted kiddo!). I gave him red hair and bluish grey hues to make the red stand out further.
For the sake of accurate description, Tom is a tall tan human with long straight hair and blue eyes (with pupils!). His nose is pointy but rounded and his eyebrows are long (also rounded!). Unlike many of my characters, he has a couple scars on his body: two on the left (our right) part of his face and a burn mark on his left (our right) knee. He typically wears casual clothing in red, blue, grey and black hues. His styling includes t-shirts, hoodies, a tie here and there, maybe a vest for the occasion and sports pants with sneakers. His accessories include grey or blue cat ears that he rarely takes off and a laptop backpack with sewn cat ears. He is right-handed.
It's time for some trivia!
- Tom is a sarcastic asshole!
- He knows his fair share of medicine since he did use to study the subject. He is however more geared to programming and tinkering with devices as of late.
- His voice is monotone with a slight Australian accent. His voice claim is Ross O'Donovan from Game Grumps.
- Due to the wildfire his cop friend got in, he stays away from fire at all times... makes sense why he can't cook too.
- He does not understand romance or anything of that sort and gets confused when feelings for Blusetta start showing up.
