Tanziu Zariah (Black Fire Opal (SU-2015))

Black Fire Opal .

Black Fire Opal lives in SU-2015, a dimension set in the world of Steven Universe. 

She was made during Era 2 and is thus much younger than many others, meaning she barely knows about the happenings of Era 1. Either way, she was part of Blue's court and worked as a cartographer for new planets. She tended to join research teams from Yellow's court and used to pinpoint useful resources for gems back in Homeworld. She seemed to have had a way with her paintbrush and papers, even if those means of recording data were ancient by now. However, if she was able to scan her recordings later, her higher-ups wouldn't mind. 

She was so in love with the art of cartography, that she longed to venture out into new worlds... even if they were forbidden. Black Fire Opal eventually made it into the shores of Earth after noticing the strange planet from afar and wanting to discover its strange "oddities". Her crew did everything to stop her but... it was already too late. She'd already stolen a ship and taken hostage one of the crew members that... it was no use getting so close to that planet. She now makes her rounds about the Earth trying to log every single thing about it stringing along a poor Black Star Diopside in the process. Everything on this planet is so... alive? The "leaves" on these "trees", the "flowers"...

Fun facts: 

• Her favourite colour is blue.
• She is ambidextrous.
• She cannot summon a weapon, much like most Era 3 gems. However she has the power of liquid manipulation, which allows her to make near perfect maps of planets. Black Fire Opal also likes to extract the ink from her maps for a 3D projection of her illustrations. She also has an affinity for using lava as her "ink".
• If she ever met Hemi, she would give her the nickname Beffaple or? Apple??? Beffy??? When will the nicknames stop-- So... here's some short versions of her name I guess-
• I bought this adopt from napkins because of two reasons: 1) the humanoid design looked very pweet and 2) I also had a Tanzanite during my SU phase, even though she was more violet coloured and a fusion. I changed her gem to a Black Fire Opal while I was toying with the colour values and found a colour combination that intrigued me!
