Occupation: While young, Blanche is Void's "apprentice"... whatever that means. When she grows up, she goes on a quest to discover where cursed loons come from. While doing this mystery-solving, she runs a nursery for the messed up babies she finds on her way
Personality: Blanche is shy and sheepish, if not downright anxious. She's uncertain and out of place around people she doesn't know, often taking a long time to warm up to them (if ever). She very much dislikes having attention drawn to her or just sort of...expectations in general. New and/or unfamiliar things or places make her nervous and jumpy. On top of that, they're kind of hard for her to process. Change is very difficult for her. She needs more time to adjust to things (or even concepts of things) than most others would. Even then, she may prove fidgety, anxious, or discontent when the change happens anyway. When not being a nervous wreck, Blanche is a sweet little lady. She's kind, caring, and considerate to everything with a pulse (or even without). She does her best to always be friendly, even when it's super scary. She's intelligent with a passion for study, though she will almost certainly sell herself short. A lover, not a fighter. Not even like...a horseplay-er. Don't get her wrong though, she can be very resilient and brave if she must...!
Physical Description: As part of a blessing to 'counteract' her curse, she was born with heterochromia, slimy skin, and the absence of a mouth. Her left eye is pale blue and her right is dark green - both are a solid color. She can occasionally be seen dripping due to her skin
History: Blanche's egg was discovered by Voidkiss while exploring. Naturally, she collected it and intended to bring it back to the Home World's nursery, but began to suffer a bizarre series of bad luck. It became so bad that it seemed like random things were actually trying to kill her. Baffled, she took the egg to the Council for advice. Woefully, she found none. The Council did what it could to bless the strange egg and could do little else other than send Void on her way. Thankfully, the horrible luck seemed to dwindle as she returned Home.

After her harrowing adventure, Void decided to skip the trip to the nursery for a while so that she could rest. And then she just sort of...never got around to it. Blanche hatched a few days after and Void was...surprisingly quick to bond with her. While she was good with kids, the older loon hadn't ever taken one on as her own. Yet there she was, cradling her little green baby and proudly declaring her her 'apprentice'

Details: As she doesn't have one, Blanche is kind of...awed by the concepts of mouths and teeth and such things. She also has delusions of what mouths can and can't do due to Void messing around with her shapeshifting ☘️ Her skin secretes a mucus that's often cold to the touch just because it's exposed to the air. An excess of this mucus typically drips off of her here and there, though not a lot at once ☘️ She can't fully raise her big floppy ears ☘️ Her skull doesn't even have a spot for a mouth. It's just bone in there ☘️ Growing up around Void also meant growing up around her many, many companions and pets. As such, Blanche is quite used to having little critters around ☘️ She has a heightened sensitivity to things like wind since her skin's always wet. She can get really chilly even with a little breeze! ☘️ Blanche still has a throat even though it doesn't lead to anything, which allows her to make a small range of sounds. She doesn't prefer such a mode of communication though ☘️
