Growing up on a Perseus Enterprises education commune typically means only one thing- However old you are, you're going to end up wanting to be a pilot at some point. It's just nature. They're hyped up so aggressively that anyone even aware of their existence wants to be them, and that's exactly the aim. Perseus Enterprises' main moneymaker is pest control of kaiju and other otherworldly entities, and more hands on the cause are always appreciated. The top of her class alongside Rhosgobel, Rina was almost destined for the role. Her sheer talent made sure that as soon as she was qualified for off-planet pest control, she was off-planet, handling some of the most high-profile jobs PE could offer. She was a household name around the towns she frequented, and she almost basked in the fame.

However, PE's pest control business wasn't entirely organic. For most of the planets they had firms on, they were the ones dragging the "pests" over from other planets, allowing them to breed and take over both local ecosystems and entire cities in the name of making money off of their governments. After finding this out, she stole her mech and effectively went rogue, using the branding and sponsorships plastered all over the mech itself to connect the destruction in her wake to the Perseus name. At least, that's what she tells herself- mostly, she's in it for the chaos. It's not like she'll ever say it, though- she feels morally justified in the harm she causes as-is, and she has no desire to change this.
