♡Dolly♡

Dolly is a compassionate young man with a heart as soft as marshmallows. He's just as sweet as a fully bloomed strawberry! He is very friendly, generous, and a lovable boy overall who puts others before himself. He is an altruistic person, being concerned more with the needs and wishes of others rather than with himself. He's always trying to make others feel at home around him and gives them the gentle treatment they deserve. Like stated prior, he's very gentle as a person and incredibly timid, painfully shy too. He does not interact in conversation and struggles a lot when indulging in any kind of talk. He silently avoids people and does not have any close friends, due to this along with other factors. He personally avoids many things out of the fear of embarrassing or humiliating himself. This often causes him to feel useless and a coward which adds onto his embarrassment and humiliation.

Despite his lack of social interaction, Dolly is still very tender and sweet. He's normally not at all the type to fight or start conflict. He dislikes fighting and shuts off or panics when fighting occurs around him. He doesn't express his feelings very well and keeps a lot to himself, putting others in the spotlight rather than him. He feels as if he doesn't want to bother others with his feelings or thoughts about anything. He thinks people don't care for what he has to say. Because of his intense fear of being judged or criticized, he avoids people and stays home all the time, maybe leaving a few times every month. He doesn't like to leave his house or bedroom for that matter. He'd much rather pick strawberries or tend to his fairies than anything really!

On the topic of fairies, he very much loves them as if they were his own children. He has a few hundred currently lurking around his cottage and garden; the fairies live and stay in his home. It isn't uncommon for them to make objects in the cottage float around to play tricks on Dolly and potential guests. Harmless, of course, but still gives Dolly and others a little fright. They give him the abilities to use magic, preform spells, and grant wishes. He uses this magic to do good, mostly with healing spells and potions. He has healed many wounded animals and even himself because of it. He'll sometimes use his magic to perform chores for him like washing up the dishes or giving the home a little dusting; silly boy can be rather unmotivated to do such things. Regarding the wishes, he grants wishes with no fee. The only thing he asks is for the wish to not be of anything that will harm yourself or another. He'll become tired when over-asked for wishes and will start avoiding the person if the wish-asking becomes too much for him. But other than that, he'd be more than happy to grant your wish!

He tends to be easily distracted by silly things like butterflies or flowers and will stare at it for long periods of time. This has caused him to bump into people or objects; in which he always apologizes to said people and objects.

He beholds an inferior complex. Because of it, his self-sacrificing levels are extreme and will go through constant abuse and pain to keep the abuser or person happy. He has gone through many abusive people and situations in the past because of this and is a huge target for being manipulated and treated poorly. He still remained soft and sweet despite it all. He is very much bothered by it and is traumatized despite how he handles this trauma. He grew to hate himself and has never learned to communicate with others properly, he is isolated from others and avoids them. He is scared of most people he does and doesn't know, and he’s especially scared of Them, a monster who roams his home.

He’s never grown to get in the habit of confrontation because of the fear he feels. He doesn’t call things out when they are harming him or making him uncomfortable because of the possibility of being punished for it. He blames himself for everything, including his trauma and abuse, and even for other people's problems or misfortune. He feels that he's a bad person and so he goes out of his way to disprove this theory by making others happy.

He is currently dealing in a fit of abuse and terror from a monster he allowed into his home. He was tricked into thinking it was a harmless spirit looking for a home and allowed the monster to come live with him. However, it's true form revealed itself and has been harassing Dolly ever since.
