Journal Entry - Aug. 15th 1943
It's certainly been an interesting first day at the new Studio. Mr. Drew seemed very excited to have me on the animation team, and most of the folk seem nice. I also had the pleasure to meet some from the Music Department. Still, it can get awfully loud in the hallways, especially when the head of the animation or music department come storming into the rooms. They're very well known to come up and complain. Apparently there's more to the studio than the outside, even underground levels! I don't quite trust the elevators, however; they seem very hastily put together like this one man suggested. I'm not venturing down there anytime soon but I hope everyone down there is as nice as that reception lady....
About
Time at Joey Drew Studios
Moore was hired onto the animation team by Joey Drew around the beginning of August 1943. They were considered a "natural talent" by Drew and soon promoted to a higher position within the Animation department. However, this brought on a new deal of stress for the anxious animator, so much so they stay in their office 90 percent of the time. The few times they step outside of their office is to talk to close friends or attend emergency rehearsals for Sammy Lawrence.
The next two and a half years were uneventful for Moore, only hearing the occasional rumor or two about employee relationships or Drew being a hassle. However, soon even they began hearing about the disappearances and sudden firings around the studio. The stress and anxiety from it all became unbearable; they no longer could focus on work. Around early September of 1946, Joey Drew asked Moore to leave the company, no longer believing they were an "efficient" member of the animation department.
Background
Moore was born in Oklahoma and spent most their adolescence helping their family around the bakery. Soon after Isabella (little sister) was born, their father moved their family to New York to take up another job.
During secondary school, Moore became fascinated with cartoons and spent most of their time studying various styles and designs. They soon meet Evan Gray, a student from a local boarding school, after a run in with his hockey team. The two clicked and quickly became friends, sharing a strong appreciation for the arts. The hockey players, however, found their friendship "annoying" and constantly bothered Moore whenever Evan was absent. The constant harassment made them extremely scared of social interactions besides their friend. One player took it too far by cutting off Moore’s hair using a sharp pair of shears, accidently nicking the back of their neck in the process. They were homeschooled for the remaining year as a result.
After secondary school, Moore received a partial education in music, studying the clarinet for 2 years. While never finishing their studies, the experience earned them enough to afford an apartment within downtown Brooklyn.

Evan Grey [ Best Friend ]
Meeting shortly after Moore moved to New York, Evan easily got along with the future animator. He made it a habit of coming over to visit when they became homeschooled. They found Evan truthworthy enough to come to him about their identity and orientation after moving to Brooklyn.
Moore would visit Evan down in the Music Department anytime they had to courage to leave the office. Sometimes they’d sit in the empty rehearsal room to perform childhood melodies when their breaks were long. Sammy Lawrence would shortly scold them both for not taking a sufficent break.
The two team up after Moore stumbles in the Music Department and stick together as they attempt to find the ink machine.
Joseph Carter [ Neutral ]
Only meeting briefly in college, Moore knew virtually nothing about the man, only that he was often seen around the city with various men and women. While it never bothered them, they kept their distance even when rehearsing in the same ensemble.
Joseph became quite the pain once working at Joey Drew Studios; he’s made it a habit to throw flirty comments here and there, only stopping when dating their co-worker & friend, Irene.
Moore encounters the corrupted version of Joseph after getting separated from Evan and Amora. Though the two of them never saw eye to eye, they were horrified to find out what happened to him and his wife. Now, they must fulfill various tasks for him while trying to find a way to out of the deal.

Although very nervous around her at first, Irene often praised their worked and dedication to animation.
