judah 'jude' newman

judah bethuel newman is a legal constultant that originally hailed from new eden but left sometime during his early twenties never to be seen or heard from again... until, private investigator (and former childhood friend), jonathan parker seeks him out while working on a case involving jude's cousin, veronica rogers. 

notes: 

• hybrid anthro inspired by the saarloos wolfhound and boat-tailed grackle.
• cis male
• middle-aged
• 5' 9" with an average build
• anything colored pitch black in his ref has a feathery-like texture save for, perhaps, his hair; i haven't really decided and it's up for interpretation.
• the 'black' of his hair and feathers is actually a deep, deep, iridescent blue. an example of this can be found here.
• he doesn't have any sort of 'wings' though his feathers do get longer towards his back in some places. his skeleton is the same as any other canine's.
• his tail is an amalgamate of a bird's and a dog's, it has a bone running through the middle, where feathers come off it like fur, but also has upper tail feathers sprouting from the low of his back.
