Personality

Talon is fiercely loyal to those she's close to, and will always go to help her friends in need. She's distrusting of others, and it takes a long time for her to warm up to someone before she considers them a friend. She doesn't like opening up to others unless she's sure she can trust them completely. She'd rather be sure that she's befriending someone that she can truly trust.

She's been described as someone who's cold and distant when first meeting someone. She tends to avoid talking with others, or keeps any conversations short and to the point. Because of this, she has a hard time meeting new people, but that doesn't bother Talon. Talon is overprotective of Tangle due to their conflicting ideals. She's worried that her sister is going to get herself hurt, and Talon wants to prevent that.

Talon doesn't do well in loud areas, and often wears a pair of noise cancelling headphones to block out the noise. While she doesn't like to do it, Talon does preform well under pressure, but is overwhelmed easily when there's too much noise to block out. Talon enjoys having thoughtful, late night conversations with her close friends, and Tangle when she's up late. This causes Talon to have a habit of staying up late into the night just to keep the conversation going.

Appearance

Talon has a height of 5'5ft (1.65m), and has a fit, rectangular build. She isn't that picky with clothes as long as she doesn't think it's too girly. If it's comfortable to her, Talon will wear it. She has a preference for dark colors, and a light jacket for the cooler months.

Relationships

Tangle

Tangle is her little sister. Talon is protective over Tangle due to how trusting she is with complete strangers. While their ways of thinking may clash, the two have an unbreakable bond and will always be there for each other.

Backstory

Content Warning: This backstory includes a house fire

Talon was always close to her family as a young kid, and loved hanging out with her sister, Tangle, or her parents, Rose and Drake, whenever she was able to. Playing video games, reading books, riding bikes, all kinds of stuff! Talon likes to think she had a good childhood, even with the disagreements she had with Tangle and her parents.

She was heartbroken when her mom said that her dad wasn't going to be coming back, especially after he left without saying goodbye. Talon blamed herself for a few years since it happened not long after her sixth birthday. She slowly started to grow a hatred for her dad because he left them. However, her bond with Tangle and her mom grew even stronger after that day.

A couple years after Drake left, both sisters found out they had summoning magic. As a young kid, Talon had a gray and white wolf plushie she was fond of. She'd bring it with her everywhere! This plushie, she named Littlewolf, was what started her love for wolves. Talon could often be found reading about them in her free time, and she'd tell anyone who would listen about the discoveries she made! Talon did her best to take care of her little wolf plushie.

At one point, it had been months since she'd seen it, and it was constantly on her mind. One day, Talon found the plushie in her arms after thinking about it, and ran off to tell her family. She quickly discovered that she and Tangle had the ability to summon items that they own. She didn't use her magic as often as her sister, but she definitely thought it was pretty handy.

During elementary school, Talon had a small group of friends she liked hanging out with. Talon, Delilah, Kyle, and Braden were normally seen together. They'd always eat lunch next to each other, and hang out at recess. Their friendship changed during the last year of elementary school. Her group of friends had found out Talon had a phobia of thunderstorms and that she hated loud noises in general.

When a thunderstorm happened during school, Talon panicked and hid under her desk. While the teacher tried to help her, a few of the other students started talking and teasing her, including her friends. While Talon tried staying friends with them, they'd only keep teasing her and making loud noises just to scare her and see her reaction. Talon asked them to stop, and when they didn't, she stopped hanging out with them.

Throughout middle school, Talon would try to avoid her old friends the best that she could, but all that did was cause them to pick on her more. She didn't make many friends during those years, but one she did make helped her out. Justin told the group off, and they eventually left her alone. Talon and Justin grew close after that, and the two of them started dating in eighth grade.

Their relationship didn't last long due to how Justin would act. Talon hated it, and it didn't take long for her to break up with him. During sophomore year, Justin got back at Talon by teaming up with Delilah's little group, and they'd tease and make fun of her whenever they could. Talon got tired of this and started lashing out at others when she became annoyed. She thought she could deal with this herself, so she refused to tell anyone what was happening.

Once she finally had enough, Talon retaliated by punching Braden, breaking his nose, then threatened the others by saying she'd do the same to them. They backed off, but gave her looks when passing her in the hallways. Since that whole event, Talon's been careful with who she decided to trust, and prefered to keep to herself.

When Talon was eighteen, she and Tangle went out grocery shopping to help out their mom. When they came back, the girls saw a sight they never thought they'd ever see. Their home was up in flames. Talon's first instinct was to drop the bags and rush into the house to save their mom, but the firefighters held her back. She was trying to get them to let go, only stopping when she saw her mom being led outside by the firefighters who went in. She had a few burns and was coughing, but she made it out alive. Tangle and Talon stayed at the hospital while Rose recovered. They were given some of the items that survived the fire, mainly photos and some other stuff, and thankfully Talon's plushie.

While Rose was recovering, their aunt contacted them and said she'd help them buy a new house. The girls and Rose were grateful for the help. After everything was set up, Tangle and Talon moved to Rinto Shores in Sunshine City. They visited Rose often while she finished recovering. The sisters found out Rose decided to live with their aunt, who was her sister, once she recovered. The family still visit each other frequently.

Present Day

Today, Talon is working at Moon Records and still living with her sister. She started dating Jack, one of the few friends she made back in middle school. She often goes to visit his bar Cat Scratch.
