Mpenda has quite a different personality that can get under most’s skin especially the fiercest warrior! They like to call her some hippie love child when that’s not the case, it’s just over protective parents that has made her this way. She can be quite the defiant wild card though and will take anyone by surprise even if it makes them drop dead. Mpenda is also quite peppy almost ditzy like but she is more approachable than most lionesses in the pride. She is also quite compassionate and is willing to show mercy to others that wouldn’t have been shown mercy in the first place. Sometimes Mpenda can be easily blinded by her morals and when she does boy does it not work well for her. But luckily she has others to help her out. And yet here she is the defiant lioness who always mistakenly follows her heart rather than following her gut feeling or intellect. Now that really does get her in trouble twenty four seven even with her mates.

History
Mpenda liked to say she had a wonderful cubhood, granted she was the only cub in the pride for a while but she still had a wonderful time being cooed over by the adults. She also grew up with a love of fighting no matter how much Kiandiko tried to ward her away from after his personal experiences. But Mpenda insisted that she could be the first female in a long time to be a warrior and that she could change it all. As she grew she snuck into training sessions and practiced at night till one day the battalion leader caught her.
Mpenda was embarrassed as she was walked back to her parents den filled with herbs. But it was a lesson she had learned and she had grown that she could prove everyone who wanted to control her life that they couldn’t control her longer. Mpenda had joined the warriors and she had made all the lionesses in the pride proud of her work. She also taught the others that they could fight with dignity and honor, not just strength. It was what Fuli would have wanted for all of them especially for Ayubu to take away raising her children with different mates.
