Though they met, and still mostly see each other with Maya working as a conduit, Tatsuya is fond of Yuki more than almost anyone else. She's short and to the point, with a level, often exasperated head on her shoulders. Sometimes he thinks she's more of a big brother to him than his blood relation. She always seems to know what to say to sort out a situation and put him back on his feet.
Eikichi is an idiot. There are no two ways about it. He's loud, self-obsessed and pushy, constantly turning everything between the two of them into a contest--And Tatsuya adores him. He might be his best friend, if either of them can get around to admitting it. To say they've been active rivals since highschool implies Tatsuya has ever risen to the goading outside of occasionally letting Eikichi work himself into a lather over it, but they did butt heads by reputation. At least, when Tatsuya wasn't playing guitar in Eikichi's band. They have each other's backs, and Eikichi never seemed to mind that Tatsuya never had much to say, even if he didn't understand it as well as Jun did.
Ginjiro is probably also an idiot. Sometimes it's hard to tell with the way he tends to play dumb. He's every ounce as pushy and loud as Eikichi, and packed into a much smaller package. Tatsuya adores him, too, in an exasperated sort of way, and feels protective of him the way a big brother who didn't suck might. Like Jun and Eikichi, they've been friends since childhood, and Gin has never made any secret of his monsterous crush on Tatsuya. Usually it only serves to make both of them uncomofortable.
Maya has been a strange but comforting presence in Tatsuya's life for almost as he can remember. She comes in and out, always bringing trouble and good cheer with her. She's responsible for the 'doppleganger' idea that plagued he and Jun in their youth, and for most of their collective drive to keep fighting throughout whatever weird, unfair hardship pops up next; and there have been a fair few. She's almost gallingly optomistic, a terrible cook and a worse driver, and by god he wouldn't trade her for anything.
I think that sounds lovely! -- but, oh, I seem to be a little tied up, as of late...
We really need to meet for lunch, soon, no?
Oh, Anna.
You know me, Atlas, I'm no good at this 'fun' thing. I'm a black hole of merriment.
....Sure.
It seems the Force brought us together again.
Care to help me on another investigation, Knight Dustil?
I know a lovely diner around here that serves the best stuffed Janari Clams. My treat.
