Paradise Gods

In legends told, the Gods were immortal concepts brought to life when the world came into existence. First they had no physical forms; aimless entities of which their energy powered forward to flourish all that came into contact with them. When humanity stepped onto the land in their birth of sentience, so did the entities to walk among them. For eons they aided; made deals of miracles, promises of fortune, and bestowed gifts of power. They also brought sorrow in equal measures; sickness, war, betrayal, and fear of their wrath. Then as suddenly as they appeared to humanity, they died leaving only fragments to barely maintain the fragility of reality their deaths left behind.
