that is wht I like to call them, they're aliens and their species actual name is roloc/s
These guys will NEVER be UFO or anything like that.
I will also gatekeep this species unless I know you and trust you with not doing soke bullshit with the species as they mean lots to me.

About them
Rolocs are colourful little beings. Usually they come with any colour really (black is not a colour Akuma is an exception). Their planet has broken down and stopped living entirely a long time ago, and they had to build an enourmus spaceship to live at. Since they can't get recourses from their own planet anymore, they steal from other planets but avoid those who have little to no recourses or are already being rotten or planets that are too dangerous. They do distance themselves from earth. They copy lots of styles, behaviour, technology, fruits, etc etc from other planets that they visit. But democracy isn't something that gets copied, in fact their lifestyle is similiar to dictatorship and even communism. There's a royale family since forever, with a crown that gets to choose the new king when the old one has fallen or isn't able to hold onto the crown anymore. These people have to be on high standards or however you say that man and take care of most of the things. War isn't their way of living though, they prefer peace for obvious reasons, which is why they mostly distance themselves from planets that have war on it or with another planet. But in case they get attacked they still do have weapons and an active army.
On their very big spaceship they also have different sections, for different seasons ( like summer, winter, etc) or just for different styles e.g. disco section, or a section that's more calm. There are sections for pretty much anything, since they copy other planets behaviour, traditions or other things they like from the planet, they will make a section for that.
Death
They don't really die as long as they're happy or at least not too depressed. When they get into the deep hole of depression and see no worth in life anymore or just really can't stand anymore mentally, they will not be able to eat or drink at all. They can still try, but their body will fight against anything that enters the body and will make them vomit. They become more pale and pale during that progress, and lose the entire colour. They die with a neutral expression in the end. Of course there can be other ways of dying, like if you actively murder them, or if they're just badly injured.
They come in two variants
Variant 1
The first variant are the taller ones. They usually have humanoid body features, but their bodies still work different from the human body. Everyone from this variant will become up to 2m tall, with no exception. Full grown rolocs from variant 2 will reach the height of 2m, with no exceptions, not taller and not shorter. Mainly those don't look so happy. They see themselves as protectors of variant 2. What they will do in the future as a "job" is rarely their own choice, only in very rare cases, they get put into a job as an order that they have to fullfill. The colour of their skin is rarely more than 1. In most scenarios they're grumpy because they mostly aren't happ, depending on how lucky they are or what area they grew up with.
Variant 2
Variant 2 come in smaller size, their maximum height that they can reach is 1.30m. It happens that they don't even reach 1m sometimes. They're mostly friendly and helpful, cheerful as well. They don't like leaving people out. They come with unique features and sometimes even powers, like unique elements. Most of them find it pretty neta that variant 1 protects them, but sometimes they get annoyed, and some of them really hate it as well. For their future jobs they are pretty limited as well, they don't get many opportunities since some jobs get seen on as too dangerous from variant 1, leaving only a few jobs and sometimes even none. Although some of this variant get to work with variant 1 sometimes, but they really have to prove themselves and try to accept how variant 1 sees them. There is not really a given chance for this variant to fully develop an adult like brain due to the way variant 1 rules their society.
But now hold on
Before these 2 variants existed, there was only 1 variant. This variant doesn't have a name yet.
First variant
The first variant just evolved into something completely else on some point due to evolution existing. These fellas were 2-3m tall, and more demonic and violent than friendly. If they recognised any form of danger, they would become agressive rather quickly. Their colours didn't seem friendly either and their body was weirdly built, imagine like a very bad sculiosis and long arms like slenderman, or something like that. Murder was often on their mind and they got into lots and lots of fights because they quickly felt attacked. They also had something like a king, that they would never harm and protect with everything they got at any given time ( in the newer evolution, the royalty on the throne has the job to protect the ones tht work under them). A language didn't really exist back in that time. But evolution did stuff and wow and yes and this is in WIP, still, after 4 years now, or something, yeah I think 4 or 5 years..
Rules that you need to follow when drawing them
These aren't really like strict rules xD but variant 1 is more humanoid and variant 2 isn't really humanoid, variant 2 comes more in a chibi style.
Don't give them realistic eyes or a more realistic mouth. They mainly have the little grin, ofc you can draw them with another expression. I will soon make a little sheet for expressions that you can orientate on, if you feel like it.

They're still a WIP and also have another generation that I will on some point also write something about
The first oc's from this species were created back in 2018 (not in order) Yoshua ( back then Joshua), Akuma, ien, Marc, Isabella, Gregor and Rei/Ren
If my memories aren't messed up, the correct order was Joshua, ien, marc and then Isabella, Akuma has been turned into a roloc later on.
