Veruca Salt: the importunate offspring of the infamous Oleg Salt, and sole heiress to the Russian-renowned Salt empire. Not that she wanted it- ironic for little miss I want everything else. Yet the tot in a choice salmon tutu, above all, wanted to be adored by the masses: a ballerina world renowned! Oh she was. Just the wrong flavour- infamous in her father's footsteps, not even his excessive wealth could bribe her dreams with tantrums like that.
And then she wanted a Golden Ticket.
And then she wanted a Squirrel.
And then it all fell down from there.~
A girl encouraged to chew more than she could handle.
A girl pushed to perfection, and over the edge.
A boy ingrained to a digital screen.
But it all began with one:
The child who escaped to their own imagination,
For better and for worse.
