Helios

Much less developed than Mars or Venus though very livable. Started as a mining planet, later became solid artificaly. Most of the surface of the planet is barren, though there are plenty of cities. Uncommon to see lone buildings because of the Tundra-like weather. A good few UmbraTech settlements use technology for leisure. Most infrastructure on Neptune is built underground. Varying opinions on quality of life.

Some asteroids are UmbraTech colonies. Helios is one of these.

After the colonizing of other planets, interest in AI grew more than any other time in human history. AI could theoretically accomplish what people could not. Work started on a AI that would build cities.Years pass, the AI keeps expandingto generate megastructures and cities

The creators try to change the AI but it had been working so long and developed so much that the original people that worked on it didn’t know how the AI was working so it could not be stopped. Eventually after a hundred or so years it became an issue for everyone. The richest and the lucky few chosen for colonization left the planet. The AI is still creating but at a small scale. It’s so developed the entire planet outline is somewhat wrecked. Most people working to help Earth's conservation are from Mars.

While Venus and Mars are the two most developed planets, the two differ drasticly in politics. Often Venus is the first in new technological advancments. The planet has many Helios investors living here. The dependance in AI can be suffocating for non-Venus residents.

UmbraTech has the most influence on Venus of all planets. The current CEO lives here.

Second colonized planet. Colonized well before the AI boom creating a sizable population. Mars residents commonly see their planet as the superior with no sentimental value on Earth. No highly advanced AI is allowed at all on Mars, including ships that visit. This rule can sometimes cause planetary travel issues as some asteroid settlements do not allow ships that too behind technologically to dock
