To survive such unforgiving conditions,Blizzard clan cats have to be tough both on the inside and out. Over the course of generations these cats have developed thick coats that trap heat inside, keeping them warm. These cats often have bigger and fluffier paws, acting as snow shoes in the icy terrain. Because the clan is so far away, the other clans aren’t aware of their existence, believing that no cat can survive in such weather. Blizzard clan camp is inside of a large cave, any other cat could get lost inside it but Blizzard clan cats know exactly where they are going. With so many chambers in the cave, the cats were quick to make each one either a sleeping quarters, a nursery or a storage space for prey. Certain cats are assigned to bring back chunks of ice to bury the prey in, keeping it cold for future meals.
