Cinis

Cinis, The Obsidian Desert

Coastline Trading - Desert Temples - Highly Religious

Cinis is a country covered in obsidian sand, yet it never becomes too hot to survive in.

It is a dry country, but never too hot for most due to the sand's unusually effective heat absorbtion. While it can absorb most heat, the lack of shade and intense sunlight can make the area a hassle to live in for those unaccustomed to it.

Most major cities and towns are along the coastline and major rivers, though a handful of temple towns are located in the open desert. Sphinxes are often drawn to the country and tend to join the population of the temples. Many in Cinis are religious and hold the Sphinxes in high regard as they are considered prophets of The Presence.
