Seems every time Tora runs into Atlas, he's hitting on her. While it doesn't seem like he's doing it too much to really be annoying, she would never let him know she likes it. She'll pretend it's annoying, but she won't dare ask him to stop. In a world that sees her as a more fierce predator, a protector, a battle-worn nin; he makes her feel like the prettiest nin in the lands. Just for a moment in time, she feels more like a princess than the guardian.
Tora ended up cracking under the pressure of his constant flirts, showing her blushes, and, eventually, the two had a litter of amazing kittoms. She loves how they go exploring together as a family and hopes he sticks around, her crush on him deepening with time.
In the end, the two made it official. An official family. Atlas will be the one to generally bring home kittoms for them to adopt, and while Tora might say no (not to the kittoms face ofc), she can't help but end up caring for the little balls of fluff. She won't admit it, but she enjoys her ever-growing family, and even more so with Atlas by her side.
"W....Who is she?"
Tora has seen Sybella around every so often, and every time she sees her she can't help but be a little smitten with her. She looks as if she belonged among the cherry blossoms, complimenting their beauty with hers. She thinks about saying 'hello', but gets nervous and chickens out. In turn, it makes her angry at herself for being such a coward, and she ends up running off to a meditation spot or off to beat something up (like an unsuspecting pile of leaves).
"I didn't know they made 'nins that pretty."
Who is this? He thinks she's tiny but he knows she's the spawn of two of his friends. Though he's not sure he's great around kids, he puts up with her following him around and asking questions... Very often Oliver has to stop and marvel at her-- "You're SO TINY...." And yet, he lets her hang around, looking after her for his friends sake, and making sure she's safe. Maybe he teaches her how to swim or harvest glow-y things sometimes. Quite affectionately (or mercilessly?) he calls her 'Bauble-Head', knowing she probably runs home to tell her dad.
Kaori doesn't mind that the big shiny Elnin is always so huffy with her when she's asking a million questions--he has adventure stories like her father and she wants to hear all of them! Though she was nervous about swimming at first, she finds it fun because her hair just floats about her head, throwing water droplets around. Even when he calls her Bauble-Head and she dashes to her mother to tattle, she's always excited when he's willing to give her a ride in the water--a big fluffy boat fit for a pirate princess.
Taiki enjoys trying to urge his kittoms to explore a bit when the carvan is parked and often leads Valentine out into the flowers with his siblings to show them around while they travel. He hopes his baby boy becomes an adventurer just like him one day and tries to give him caravan tips while putting flower crowns on the little kits head whenever the boy is sitting still long enough.
Taiki is Valentine's hero! He practically lives through his stories, and can often be caught climbing onto or into things pretending to be his dad. He gets a little impatient when being taught something in non-story format, sometimes walking off or making huffy noises as a result of being a little bit spoiled (because of Velia). He 'hates' the flower crowns his dad gives him, but never takes them off. He is still practicing on making them for his dad, but is content to sometimes sneak his attempts at it into Taiki's long tail.
Kaori refuses to go to sleep without her brother near her and will often get up in the middle of the night to snuggle into him if he's moved away at all. She's tentative on exploring the world but she's more then willing to trot behind him and trying to find the best trinket to take home to their parents. She's usually the first to try and make everything into a game but she's a sore loser.
Valentine adores his sister and will go out of his way to make sure she's safe. Though when nearby older elnin, including his parents, he tends to try to carve out time for himself to be mischievous without her tagging along. He sometimes gets impatient when she stops to examine things, since he loves to explore just like his father and his sister seems hesitant. And though he grumbles about it, he always snuggles her or comforts her if she gets too upset.
Velia's little sweetheart sugar dumpling! Mother like daughter, she loves to bring souvenirs back and to show Kaori trinkets she found as a kittom. She always fusses over Kaori's ears and hair, usually taking time during the kittom's naptime to groom her. Though Velia's stories aren't as epic as Taiki's, she is always more than willing to tell Kaori a story or three when she can. On especially cold or dark nights she sleeps nearby, so she can be both warmth and a nightlight of sorts!
Kaori always goes out of her way to bring her mother back the best trinkets she can during the day. Everything from pretty rocks to flowers from around their home. She usually opts to nap in her mothers fluff after pleading for a ride back once she gets sleepy on their travels--because she'd be so sad if she was left at home instead of going out with her parents.
Taiki adores his daughter deeply, telling her the same stories over and over even if she's asked for the same one again and again. Whenever he can, he's trying to get her floating tuff of hair to lay down enough to add flower crowns onto her head or little beads from his tail but Kaori usually wiggles far to much for them to stay very long. He often wraps his tail around her and her siblings as well as Velia when they all settle down for sleep at night on the caravan roads.
Kaori adores listening to her fathers stories of his adventures and often begs for more then one in a day. Sometimes she sneaks into his adventuring stuff and tells him when she can fit his cape and boots she'll be big enough to go on adventures all on her own and have even better stories!
