Synopsis:
Dawnclans cats are as compassionate as they come, their kindness runs deep and so do their values. Even when provoked the clan keeps its cool, violence is always a last resort. If you somehow manage to provoke a member of dawnclan, do not expect mercy.
Personality Traits
Virtuous
Dawnclan puts their morals before anything else, like the forest, regardless of how another cat may treat them, a member of dawn will do their best to pay it back in kindness.
Bright
Because of their *almost* utopian lifestyle, Dawn cats don't have much to worry about. Their lives are stress free giving them space to be happy about… everything?!
Strengths
With the genes of their Riverclan ancestors, most Dawn cats can swim fairly well. Aside from medcats, warriors are taught the basics about herbs for onsite medical attention. Dawncats also have an innate ability to predict the weather (to an extent), the reason as to how is unknown.
Weaknesses
Because of their terrain, Dawnclan isnt used to running through thorny bushes, jumping over rocks or scouting in areas with thick trees. When visiting Duskclan a lot of Dawn cats need guides.

Trivia
- Dawnclan got its name because the territory never is completely dark, even at night the sun doesn’t set.
- To ward off dogs, the dawnclan cats harvest deathberries, which are lethal to both cats and dogs. Only one cat has access to these berries at a time.
Territory
Located on acres of abandoned farmland now overtaken by flora, Dawnclan resides in a vibrant forest surrounded by tall trees and moist forest floor. A few twolegs inhabit the area around the territory, separated by a decaying wooden fence.
Camp
A hop and a skip away from the abandoned "glass gazebo" is a midsized clearing, with soft grass and trees serving as a barrier this glade makes for the perfect camp. Deserted fox dens hidden underneath leaves are used for the usual common spaces and in the center of it all lies a dirt hill; hollowed out to make an area for the medcats, it doubles as a spot for the leaders to sit atop.
Streams
Woodland
A pretty standard forest, filled with an insanely excessive amount of underbrush separated by twoleg made dirt paths. Since the land used to be home to giant farm, various non-native plants grow. Though it's rare to find ripe ones during the off seasons, seeds can be dug up from the ground and saved for later.
Weather
While it varies across the seasons, the climate stays rather temperate/warm and breezy.
Prey
Prey consists primarily of Birds & Fish, a squirrel if they get lucky, as the trees are too thin for them to live in, making the population scarce. Weasels make for a delicious snack if they can be caught.
Predators
Despite the significant distance between the twolegs homes and Dawnclans territory, Dogs may escape their owners and kill clancats. Badgers are most problematic however, sometimes attempting to burrow in the territory and attacking cats unprovoked. Foxes & Owls may attack smaller cats as well.
History
After the "merge" was proposed Riverclan & Thunderclan became one and Dawnclan was forged. They claimed the original land and for generations have thrived with strong morals and stronger bonds.
Belief
Dawnclans morals are incredibly important to them, which is no surprise considering kits are taught to "Treat your neighbor like your clan". Dawn cats believe that the forest will serve them as long as they serve others.
Traditions
Once a year, mid newleaf "The hunt" is hosted. The leaders of Dawnclan, invite members of Duskclan to participate in a yearly hunt to scare out foxes & kill cubs.

Clanmates
Dawn cats treat their clanmates like family, they feel that being in a clan together is the strongest relationship one can have.
Kittypet
While most dawn cats are weary of them because of their connection to twolegs a few are very hospitable.
Loner
Loners often occupy the empty buildings left over from the twolegs, on some occasions groups of Loners will work with the clan in exchange for help during the tough seasons.
Rogue
Dawn cats will steer clear of rouges 90% of the time. There are only a FEW instances where a rogue is interacted with or even let into the clan.
Most Dawn cats believe Duskclan hates them, and as a result they try very hard to get on their good side. Even so, a lot of Dawnclan have the preconception that Duskclan is dirty and its members are vulgar. Though nobody in dawnclan dares to say that aloud.
