The height of feline civilization has come and gone, and now many live within sheltered settlements frequently battered by life threatening storms, fending for themselves, unaware of the past. Pepper, young and spirited, finds herself injured. She is taken in by an old molly by the name of Marigold and healed with sweet-smelling herbs. Not long after Pepper meets a mysterious white lykoi cat who calls herself Tarai. The three are soon off on a journey that will slowly begin to uncover the secrets of the forgotten civilization. Or perhaps even the secrets of themselves.
