Soooo im in the middle of writing a thing but idk how I feel about the pacing of this; is it too slow? too fast? Im going for a super-descriptive kind of Ray Bradbury kind of writing style [If you kinda get what I mean?]
Its only two paragraphs and like two sentences; if you have any advice i'd appreciate it ;w;
The cold midnight air was daggers across the exposed skin of the thief; cutting through the thin layer of protection and causing small bumps to erect across the tan membrane. The partial-feline took in a breath, and then breathed out, sending a small veil of white mist out into the air in front of him, before it is hastily swallowed up and pulled apart into the frigid air around him. In, and out. Breathing was made hard when the air felt like pinpricks scaling across your lungs, but this is nothing too new to the male. Through childhood and thus far, the cold had been a close relative, only ever tolerated by the family he was born into, but never picking up on the signals and signs of his kin’s spite against him.
He pulled his short hood around his thin frame as tight as it would let him, but it culminates little of the warmth he was craving in the bitter weather. It always hit hard in this region, but why he stayed he hadn't a clue. Well, no, he had his reasons, but those are kept close under a metal door, locked and air-locked deep under the turf; and digging it out would require the need to get through the infertile and tampered soils that countless farmers had planted in and replanted, draining the life from the ground until it was a husk of something once beautiful and life-giving.
But alas, he kept up a steady pace along the overgrown dirt pathways, found deep in the far outskirts from the Capitol. pine needles scattered in his walk, the dark-green evergreens plotted out tight-knit along the perimeter of the winding path. Although overgrown, the path showed something reminiscent of beauty.
It's not going to sound complete just yet, as im in the middle of writing it; im just making sure pacing and the vocab is good so far. Thanks for any advice; or even just skimming over it! ;w;

i just regenerated all my photos with my custom watermark only to realize that it has a very very small gap inbetween so its not seamless, but i cant be bothered to go and fix it

a day after my trip i came down with a fever and light hurts my eyes and gives me a headache
like my laptop is killing my eyes right now but thats okay
probably the flu + dehydration + allergies cuz im healthy--
uhh my fever got up to 105 so that was a thing [it was because i had a million blankets on top of me dont be concerned its down to a steady 100-102--]
im going to the doctors later tonight
well uh im gonna go lay down and sleep for another 10 hours bai [after i look through all these notifications-]
yeaahhhhh no it was terrible
i got stung by yellow jackets
we didnt do anything fun cuz it kept raining
my friend kinda ignored me and i irritated her
it was a crappy burfdayyyy
i have to go back to school tomorrow when i barely got any rest over the weekend
