Hesdani (Humanoid) Anatomy
General
The Hesdani, or humanoid, form of Kruksen are just as varied as other humanoids and has a similar amount of sexual dimorphism that humans do. Kruksen have the standard bipedal, tailless body type most sentient mortal species have.
Physical Sexual Dimorphism – As standard as humans, however, there are three recognized biological genders: male, female, and intersex. Intersex individuals have a mix of both female and male attributes and are very rare. These individuals are considered both lucky and blessed. They are sterile, however. Despite whatever biological sex the Kruksen is, many individuals within the Kanweh-Terah group do not follow what humans would consider traditional gender roles. Pronouns are respected.
Size: Male Kruksen have an average height of 6’0”. Female Kruksen have an average height of 5’8”. Intersex Kruksen vary between the two.
Mouth
Mouth: The jaws of a Kruksen are much more powerful than a human’s at 200 lbs. of pressure per square inch. The tongue is thick, long, and split in two like a snake. It can reach lengths of almost a foot long in some cases.
Kruksens have the same amount and type of teeth in both forms. They are able to replace their teeth as they are lost. Incisors, prime canines, and sub canines are much more easily replaced. Molars tend to take longer. On the inside of the teeth there are hollow grooves to allow new teeth to start emerging as the old ones fall out.
Kruksens have 30 teeth total:
Upper Teeth: x4 incisors (2 per side), Bull canines x2 (1 per side), sub canines x8 (4 per side), molars x4 (2 per side)
Lower Teeth: x2 incisors (1 per side), Bull canines x4 (2 per side), sub canines x6 (3 per side), molars x2 (1 per side)
These teeth have same the same layout in both the Hesdani and Ahmnive forms - just of different sizes.
Eyes
Kruksen has the same eye color between their Hesdani and Ahmnive forms. Their pupils are cat-like and will contract in light and will dilate when in darkness or when the Kruksen is excited or joyful. The pupils are always fairly narrow under normal circumstances, but the pupils can contract to thin slits. in dim light. However, the pupils never dilate to full circles. This is the case with the Ahmnive form as well. The eyes can change color slightly based on mood, and on occasions of emotional highs, can glow. Also, they are reflective when light is shined directly on them. All Kruksen do have issues seeing in bright light, however, and the outside during midday is usually avoided!
Common iris colors are brown, hazel, green, yellow, orange, grey, and black. However, other iris colors are possible. 
Ears
Hesdani are a type of elf, and thus their ears are elongated. Unlike other elves, however, they can move their ears to pick up sounds around them and to show emotion. They also have a stronger sense of hearing than humans and other elves.
Organs & Systems
Kruksen have a few differences from humans when it comes to their internal bodily systems.
Digestive System: The Kruksen digestive system is shorter than a human’s but longer than a feline’s. They are not obligate carnivores but still have a diet higher in meat than their other elven or humanoid brethren. Kruksen in their Hesdani form are omnivores.. Their saliva contains amylase and can digest carbohydrates and sugars. Many ahmnive dig up roots and tubers and in both the humanoid and feral form, Kruksen enjoy potatoes and carrots. Unlike felines, ahmnive can taste sugar and other sweeteners. Their stomach is slightly larger compared to their body size and their intestinal tract contains shorter large and small intestines. Kruksen have a caecum rather than an appendix.
Circulatory system: The heart is slightly larger and the heart rate is slower than a human's.
Respiratory system: Kruksen have a six lobed set of lungs, rather than five. And they breathe out of their nostrils and their mouths, just like other humanoids.
Body Temperature/Hypothalamus: The core body temperature of a Kruksen in hesdani form is slightly higher than humans as a Kruksen at 99.7°F/37.6°C average. Hesdani regulate their body temperature through sweating and shivering just like other humanoids.
The rest of the organs within a Krusken are very similar to that of a human.
Hair & Skin
Skin color: Skin color is as varied as humans with similar tones and can range from pale to a very deep brown. A light skin child can be born to two darker skin parents and vice-versa. It seems as if magic is involved rather than genetics in these cases.
Hair: Hairstyles are as varied as humans’, but head hair is normally very thick for a Kruksen Common hair colors are whites, grey, red, brown, and black – this color usually matches their ahmnive’s mane color, but not always!. Core, torso and pelvic body hair in this form is as common as humans, despite the lack of it in other elven races. Leg and arm hair are common.
