alright internet is up and running, back from my trip and i think its about time for another sketchdump, then off to finish commissions and other owed art~

so i'm opening up some sketch commissions to do inbetween other art, while i'm out etc.

ah i feel so bad cause im so inactive, i want to try and reach out to people that I know or have started past RPs with that i didnt finish or left them hanging. Would it be weird to go back after all this time? >///< dunno but i want to try and talk with them again because i miss them for sure....

man... i have to say that every time i get to the end of a story I'm involved in I get so many emotions. The dnd campiagn that Ive been in with my boy Ruben for almost 3 years and over 300 hours just being him is coming to an end and it hurts but I'm also looking forward to finally seeing everything wrap up and seeing where he'll end up.

The same thing happened with Shen'ra when I ended his campaign and I could only imagine the DMs pleasure when all the players of his year long campaign just needed to sit in silence and contemplate that it was....over. just Done. I've never gotten to the completion of an RP in the same way because with an RP you can just keep going if you want to. just keep talking about them and what they're doing but these campaigns are so finite and it really feels like I'm retiring that character, theyre story is done and thats all there is to it. I've crafted Ruben for the faux steampunk/magic/1920's mixed high fantasy setting and world, so it doesn't feel right trying to use him again.

but then i can still be satisfied with knowing what happened in the end and set my sights on crafting someone else's journey.

its very bittersweet.

if anyone actually read this can you tell me if you've had this kind of experience with D&D or your RPs? do you still use those characters anyway? do you go and re-purpose those characters?

I recently joined a group of people that are gonna be ordering custom charms as a group order
and i'd love to get some new art of my special main bbys to make into keychains/phone charms!!!

I'm looking to commission people who'd be willing to do a chibi of a character in a month or less
and i'm also looking for some chibis of a couple ships of mine as well~
files will need to be at least a couple of inches and they'd need to be 300 dpi of course
especially looking people who'd be willing to draw different expressions or the backs of the poses for the double sided charms
((but isnt necessary in the least bit))

I've been trying to get a CS idea down for a long time and i'm almost ready to start doing things with it but im having a bit of trouble making them distinct and unique enough. I'm worried they look too generic though

The CS in general are known as Azontri or more commonly Dreamons and are a type of planar traveler that specializes in contracts to help others sleep peacefully by consuming their dreams and nightmares. they tend to be magic users and have a home plane they can return to if they so wish. If they need to they can shape shift and disguise themselves as the dominant species of whatever plane they travel to, as their somewhat outlandish appearance can put others off. ((hence the given nickname of dreamons))

((Theres a bunch of other lore I have for anyone who's interested but i wont get into here))

Notable features include
- wavy hair that flows like smoke ((for straight hair)) or poofs up like clouds ((for curly hair))
- animalistic feet either long like a rabbits foot or more small and round like a cat
- distinct ears with a cloud shaped whorl in them
- clawed fingernails
- tails with the same kind of soft floaty hair as their head
- body markings

Examples:

I'm wondering what your guys' thoughts are on them, if they look just like every other humanoid cs and if so what you think could be added to make them more recognizable? If you'd like to know more about their lore you can also hit me up for that
