Ichoric Pantheon
General Information:
The Ichoric Pantheon is the main 'overall' pantheon for the major religions of Aias. Several religions across Aias have traced their origins back to the first worshippers of the Ichoric Elden Deities, many of which are shared among all descendant religions. While some of these religions do lean towards monotheism, many of these gods have been traced back to the Ichoric Pantheon in some way or form.
Many texts around the Pantheons have the deities sorted as following, with some overlaps;
- The Elden - The Primordial deities
- The Agrice being deities centered around agriculture
- The Nae refers to deities of the Underworld (also called Nae)
- The Haeth refers to deities centered around health and well being
- The Persi centered around more personified concepts, though this also has the split within concerning minor deities serving the same roles (fire deities, deities of emotions, etc)
- The Rus refers to nature deities of the more rustic/wild side as oppose to those of agriculture
- The Zea refers to water deities, with sea deities considered more powerful than river deities
- The Sekyn are sky-related deities
- The Slaepan are the deities of sleep itself.
The following Deities in the folders below are those who have been recorded greatly across many of Aias's global worships, but not all of them, as some Ichoric deities are much more local than global. (Creator's note: This is to leave room for more/future deities characters needed to aspects of a story a current one may not have. And background characters that are purely just that.)
The Elden are the "first" of gods and goddesses belonging to the Ichoric Pantheon. While it technically holds two generations within it's ranks, it's still called "The First Generation" all together as all the gods were the ones involved in the battle against the very first deity, Creation as well as being the main holders of domains for a many older religions centered around them. It is a shared detail that Dyradis is the youngest of the Elden, with religious scrolls usually dating back to the era that their worship picked up.
The older religions that focused on the Elden had Aveum as the ruler after Creation's defeat, The Four Fates as the Seasonal Sisters, and usually contain the myths and legends where Orthors is alive and either married to Naemia or Dyradis.
The more modern religions centered around the Ichoric Pantheon have the Elden more as the primordial forces of old for the more mortal-appearing newer deities that followed. Noteably, the change of this deity focus for many seem to have occured or started to happen around the some time as the Great Roxkian Quake.

The Agrice are the deities centered around agricultural arts.
Older religions and myths have Dyradis as the lead deity of the Agrice and the main divine of Agriculture itself. However, newer religions and myths have Erlea, who was previously a minor goddess centered around apiculture. It's speculated by mythographers that the change to this specific goddess may have happened during the period when apiculture was spreading to numerous cultures.
While there are numerous agricultural divines, the following are considered the ones of larger impact from the Ichoric Pantheon. As seen, various divines that overlap with the below-listed gods or other agricultural gods concerning various parts of agriculture are not listed here. It has been observed that while there are deities associated with aquaculture, fishing, forging, and hunting, those deities are not associated with the Agrice but rather with the Zea or Rus.

The underworld/afterlife of Aias is called Nae, along with the deities that work with and/or reside within it. The name(s) are noted to be the first part of the main goddess of death and ruler of this afterlife, Naemia. For the sake of the following passages, only the underworld itself will be called Nae.
Entrance to Nae is told in myths to be a variety of routes, though the most common way told comes in the form of being guided by a psychopomp deity or, depicted in many iconic motifs across culture, a person holding a lantern of white fire while jumping onto a thuraene (a specific name given to a tree stump carved with proper runes that's in the middle of a mushroom circle). There are various ideas on whether a body needs to be properly buried for the soul of a mortal to be granted entrance to the underworld, but a common belief in many of Aias's cultures is that a desecrated corpse will cause damage to the soul and therefore not let it wholly rest in the afterlife.
Nae is often described and depicted with many pale lanterns guiding several paths for the dead souls. Sources of white or pale blue lights are often used as symbols to represent deities associated with Nae. Myths vary on the appearance of Nae aside from the following;
- Many paths
- no sky/ appearing to be a cavern
- several pale-colored flames
- Akathar
Akathar is an exception due to the most common mythology concerning the Ichoric Pantheon, as it is said to be where Creation is imprisoned. It is also where it is believed the souls most punished reside to live out their sentences and receive divine judgment.
