The Steady
Thicketclan is the clan considered the most traditional of the five clans and is thought to be the oldest of the five because of such. Their pelts combined with the thick forest they live in have them also known for appearing much more secretive than they actually are. These cats are actually known to be friendly, if a bit patronizing, to the other clans. It’s often a Thicketclan cat that will keep a calm mind in troubled times. Compared to the other clans, their number of members always seems to be larger and this fact is often what the clan uses to its advantage should a battle arise.
Typical Traits:
Dark-colored pelts (usually black or brown), short or average heights, small ears compared to the rest of the body
Camp:
The camp is truly how this clan gets its name, as the entire walls of it and the dens are covered in thick thickets with very dense branches. The dens in particular are dug underneath these thickets to use these thick branches to their full capacity. The Leader makes their announcement from the low-hanging branch of a tree that is in the center of the camp. This branch is called the Gathering Branch.
Territory:
The territory is filled with a thick forest with a large variety of plants from oak trees to the plentiful amount of herbs that the clan has access to. Despite this though, there is a marsh in the southeast of the territory where the border with Floodclan is and a large open meadow near the southwest when one heads to the gathering area that is a favorite hunting and training area during greenleaf especially. There are a few ponds that litter the forest these cats live in.

The Sturdy
Gorgeclan is a clan known for being excellent climbers and being hard to fight, whether that is due to their thick fur protecting them or their high endurance thanks to their way of life. The clan usually is unbothered by the rest of the clans and more often than not has the least amount of problems that are centered around nonclan cats. It could be up for debate if this is because of their location, their own rather large sizes compared to the other clans, or if it is because of the other dangers living in the Gorge such as cougars or bears that make many other cats think twice of living in such a location. Either way, it’s often thought of the cats of this clan to be very hard to impress or surprise.
Typical Traits:
Large-sized, thick pelts, often have spotted pelts, broad shoulders
Camp:
The camp is right by the waterfall, with many of its dens sheltered in small caves along the cliffside, with the nursery, in particular, being in a cave that rests behind the waterfall. A rock in the middle of the stream called the Shallow Rock is where the Leader makes their announcements.
Territory:
Lives in a mountainous expanse around a huge gorge. Around the gorge is a very thin forest on one side and a much thicker mixed forest on the other. The cliffs are high and rocky, packing snow during leaf-bare and having caused this clan to become very skilled climbers. There is a flat sandy bank and a shallow creek thanks to the waterfall the camp has at the bottom of the gorge. This is the most northern clan and neighbors Thicketclan on the side of the gorge with the thick forest, Sunclan on the side of the thinner forest, and its creek flows into the same creek of Creekclan’s name to the south.

The Daring
Daring to some, challenging to others, Sunclan and its members have quite the reputation for always questioning those with authority around them and even within their own numbers. While most might think this would cause a lack of loyalty within this clan, this mentality to constantly question said authority has managed to keep this clan from even more grave trouble that could have come from abusive power in the past. This clan is also known for always being the ones to eagerly fight and it’s little surprise most skirmishes are along its borders. Sunclan cats have just as much of a reputation to be rather cocky risk-takers as they have for questioning authority. They’re the only clan out of the five who have two of each high rank, with the leaders splitting the number of lives so that each one has four and rejecting the ninth life offered from Starclan as a sign of being truly Sunclan new leaders upon ranking up. It’s also to be noted that Sunclan tends to be the smallest of the five most of the time, partly due to constantly getting into border fights as well as being the clan most hostile to non clan cats regardless of otherwise origin.
Typical Traits:
shorthaired, bright pelts, often tall and lean with long tails
Camp:
Sunclan’s camp is out in the open, mostly being an array of rocks situated near each other with one den that was a formerly abandoned wolf den underneath one of the few rare trees in the area used as both the clan’s nursery and elders' den. The rock at the top of all these rocks, called the Highest Stone, is used by the Leaders for announcements. The rest of the clan, aside from the queens, kits, and elders, sleep on top of the rest of the rocks with no other protection from the elements. It is only in extreme emergencies that the one den the camp has is used to shelter the entire clan, which it is capable of doing as such measures were made and are kept by the elders as their only other added task aside from their normal, less strenuous chores.
Territory:
Sunclan’s territory has very few trees or bushes, sitting on the west side of Gorgeclan’s territory. Most of the area is covered by tall grass and is more known for its sandy soil. There is very noticeably no variety in the terrain height and Sunclan is often very dry compared to the other territory. There are a few boulders about, providing most of the shade for the cats that live here. Luckily, the territory does have sources of water that are mostly along the border with Creekclan.

The Lucky
Creekclan is known as the lucky clan, not for the fact that the clan seems to have plenty of good luck, but rather the belief that if it’s not for whatever luck the clan has, it feels should have been wiped out ages ago. This thought is not even only from the other clans and is in fact often shared among Creekclan’s own members. No one seems to know how despite all the troubles that tend to affect the five clans from time to time, Crrekclan seems to be remarkably spared from the worst or simply not affected at all, or even to just something more basic in how little prey may have for all of the other territories during a particularly harsh leaf-bare and yet Creekclan always by some fortunate turn of events have enough fresh kill for all of its members. As a result, Creekclan is often a clan seen with jealousy from the other clans, especially after a hard time, while many of the clan’s own members have tended to grow lazy over the years.
Typical Traits:
Stocky body types (mostly styled after British Shorthair in particular), often diluted colors, short muzzles, and odd features, such as overbites, underbites, oversized ears, etc.
Camp:
The clan’s camp is right where the creek flows into the lake. Their dens are surrounded by bushes. The Leader makes their announcement right by the water along the rocks that line the creek known as the Sandbar.
Territory:
The creek that runs from Creekclan’s border with Gorgeclan branches out into more creeks to run along its border with Sunclan and Floodclan, with one creek going on to run right through the middle of the territory. The rest of the territory is forest-filled with the exception of a large lake the main creek in the middle flows into.

The Adaptable
Floodclan cats are the main swimming experts of the five clans. These cats are considered the most adaptable due to the ever-changing state of their territory, as well as the most stubborn. This clan tends to have cats that are incredibly prideful. They’re the most colorful of the clans as well as being the clan with the second most negative look on non clan cats, seeing them being unworthy of being invited into clan life, though they will make exceptions if it turns out said non clan cats were once a former clan cat. Furthermore, this is the clan that tends to be the most accepting of any members that turn out to have a parent in another clan but see it as unimportant if a parent is non clan, almost outright dismissed and ignored.
Typical Traits:
Colorful pelts, often bi-colors or calicos, thin pelts, smaller paws compared to the rest of the body, and longer faces and lanky bodies similar to most modern oriental shorthair breeds. Colorpoints are also more likely to happen in this clan than in others.
Camp:
Floodclan’s camp is on a small hill that rests between the main river and one of the many creeks. This hill is able to stay above the water when the territory flood, and at the very top of it is a boulder that acts both as the leader’s den and where the leader gives their announcements. The rest of the dens are built with thickets and brambles around this boulder called the Hilltop. The clan does have a second camp in the event this main camp becomes too flooded, something that is watched for carefully during new leaf. This second camp is on what is known in the territory as Little Butte and is organized to be a replica of the first camp, with the exception that the center where the leader’s den and announcement point is instead a single rock known as the Risepoint.
Territory:
Technically, Floodclan lives in an often flooded meadow. The border with Thicketclan has them sharing a marsh and on the other side, they have several creeks shared with Creekclan’s border that then also branch out to the rest of the clan’s territory, with one becoming a river. The rest of the territory is a meadow during leaf-fall and leaf-bare that gets flooded when the snow melts and overfills the creeks, river, and marshes during new-leaf and green-leaf. To the north where the gathering area is high ground, including a small but still noticeable butte that the clan uses as a secondary camp in the event their main one becomes too flooded.

Non-Clan Cats
Cats that don't live in the clans often are clumped together by the clan cats, though reach specific kind tends to be treated a certain ways.
Clan views:
Thicketclan:
General: Thicketclan usually finds a fair amount of non-clan cats on their borders, some types more than others. Out of all the clans, Thicketclan is the one most likely to take in a non-clan cat into their numbers.
Rogues
Cautiously approached. Thicketclan isn't a clan for outright fights. More often than not, they'll observe a rogue from the shadows to see if there's even a chance of them being suitable for the clan's life. More often than not though, they'll scare the rogue off from the shadows or, if the rogue is persistent in some cases, ambush them to get them to leave.
Loners
A fair amount of Thicketclan's numbers come from bloodlines where they invited a loner or two in. It's not an immediate invitation though. Usually, they'll wait for a moon or two to observe the loner, both from the shadows and in face-to-face meetings to see if the cat is suitable for their way of life. If the loner passes this time period, they'll be given the chance to join the clan.
Kittypets
Kittypets are a rarity for the clan to come across. Those that often come across the border are ones more often than not completely lost. Thicketclan looks down on these cats, but won't leave them be either. They'll escort whatever poor kittypet came across them to The Hollow and then direct them to Creekclan, who are usually more suited to help the lost feline. These cats may be given the opportunity to join, but it's less likely than a rogue being invited into the clan.
Gorgeclan:
General: Gorgeclan, given its terrain, doesn't come across many non-clan cats. They're friendly if one comes across one of their patrols, but their isolation thanks to the cliffs and gorge that is their home make some communication difficulties.
Rogues
The clan is willing to reason and see if any rogue lucky (or unlucky) enough to come across them would like to join. Those nice enough to not attack but also not want to join are escorted back out of the territory. Those that are outright hostile don't tend to have the luck of getting back out of the gorge. Gorgeclan cats tend to be nice, not pushovers.
Loners
Same as rogues, though arguably more welcoming. Loners don't tend to be hostile in the same ways as rogues.
Kittypets
Same as loners, added with the expression of "How the hell did you get here?!" Gorgeclan might as well be the clan that finding or coming across a kittypet of all cats is near impossible.
Sunclan:
General: Sunclan has the reputation of trying to fight everyone, so it should be no surprise that they're far from the friendliest clan to any non-clan cat.
Rogues
Fight them, claw them, drive them away. That is Sunclan's attitude towards rogues. These cats are the ones that the clan fights the most.
Loners
Sunclan still fights them, though surprisingly has invited one or two in the past to join the clan. The reason why though has been lost to time. And maybe denial.
Kittypets
Sunclan actually has a similar attitude to kittypets as Thicketclan, including the rarity of any kittypet coming across their territory. There is often a heavy 'tough love' to them trying to get the lost kittypet to where they need to go to get the more appropriate help.
Creekclan:
General: By far the friendliest clan most non-clan cats could meet. Both for better and for worst. For the clan or for the non-clan cats can be up to their own debate.
Rogues
Creekclan has very much openly invited rogues to join in the past if said rogue didn't attack them outright. Those that do seem at first to get a good advantage... and then suddenly get overswarmed in numbers as other warriors from the clan hone in on the attack in waves. And if the said rogue is able to live... they better not come around again or else that ass becomes grass.
Loners
Creekclan is unbelievably welcoming towards loners, even more so than they are towards rogues. And any who reject the offer (which has been quite a lot) are still welcome to visit.
Kittypets
Creekclan will take in any lost kittypet as their own up til they are done helping them return home, and those that join are treated as if they are family. This clan is the one clan has that the most interactions with kittypets and a good number of the clan's cats have kittypet ancestors when compared to the other clans. Add in that Sunclan and Thicketclan will direct any kittypets they come across to Creekclan, it's no wonder how Creekclan keeps up its "soft" appearance.
Floodclan:
General: Floodclan rarely has interactions with non-clan cats due to the flooding their territory gets in new-leaf and green-leaf. This clan is also the only clan that sees non-clan blood in their own numbers as 'disappointing' at best, especially since they cheer when one of their warriors are found out to have been involved and produced offspring with warriors from the other clans. Those that do trespass though...
Rogues
Floodclan will chase any rogue out, no questions about it. They despise any and all rogues they come across and if they find out one of the other clans (more often than not Creekclan) has taken in a rogue, they would spit upon such a fact. Those in the clan that are found out to have had relations with a rogue are also looked down upon.
Loners
They might not be chased out immediately, but that does not make Floodclan any friendlier. The best any loner can hope to get from Floodclan is to be escorted back out of the territory. Those in the clan that is found out to have loner blood aren't treated much any different from the average warrior, aside from the usual comment of the matter being 'disappointing.'
Kittypets
Other clans might take pity on kittypets, but Floodclan has been known to mock them. To Floodclan, they are the softest, most pathetic sort of cats to exist. If someone in Floodclan is found out to have kittypet blood, no matter how far back in the lineage it may be, one could expect to be mocked just as much.
