Quincy, a shy and sweet angel, works the morning shift at the Dandelinne town library alongside their co-worker Toby. their library is considered the best in their area, containing books new and old, all kept in fantastic condition. in the evening, when Zebbie has their shift, Quincy goes about their day like any other person would, meeting with their best friend Zac and often going to the florist next door to the library to chat with Edith, their crush.
new to the cozy town of Dandelinne however are two very un-cozy individuals. Dot and Macy both got jobs as receptionists in the newly built Dandelinne motel, but they have a second, less publicly known job as well, that of paranormal investigators. there has been a bit of a ghost problem secretly brewing in Dandelinne, and the duo has been hired to take care of it. on their off-time, Macy and especially Dot cause light amounts of mischief. while many have complained about this mischief, the two’s expertise in paranormal activity make it so that they aren’t leaving any time soon.
Dandelinne’s library is one of the oldest buildings in the town, so of course Dot and Macy had to investigate it. that is when them and Quincy met, and from there shenanigans ensue.

Quincy the angel librarian works the evening shift at a magical library with their co-workers, Zebbie and Jade, and their boss, Deborah. The books in this library can transport people to different worlds or rewrite history itself just by reading them. They are renowned for having only joyful books in their library, however there is a secret vault that only their boss knows about. The vault is filled with bad-end books, and using these she can manipulate the world at will.
Next door to the library is Edith’s flower shop, which is often seen as the best of its kind in Dandelinne. Quincy is a regular customer, buying flowers to make the library smell nice. The two are very good friends and get into long conversations at the cash register. A mutual friend of theirs is Zac, who works a boring job at the local supermarket, though is very optimistic despite this.
Dot and Macy work at the hotel across the road. They have normal desk jobs in the day, but at night they are paranormal investigators. In their free time, Dot likes to steal stuff and visit graveyards, meanwhile Macy studies chemistry and potions. The two are dating.
One day, Dot and Macy enter the library in full investigator attire, curious regarding the source of its magical abilities. It is nearing the end of Quincy’s shift at this time, and Zac and Edith were currently the only other visitors. The investigators somehow manage to find and break into the secret vault, and Dot steals a book from there, entitled “Apocalypse of the New Moon”. The problem? This book is set in their happy town of Dandelinne, and details the end of the world.
