So... Kaede Akizuki is a simple adult(!!!) of 18 years, whose life kinda sucks. She works a shitty retail job to pay rent of her tiny apartment, and life is just so boring.

She has a huge love for urban exploring, in hopes of finding some excitement in her life, and she encounters a mysterious little flicker of light, who guides her through a dark tunnel... and BOOM... she ends up in Halloween Hills.

Kaede loves it! It's awesome!

Her arrival, however, seems to either awaken or summon a shadow-like being known as Malice, who is using the monsters' negative emotions as fuel to cause destruction. Not if Kaede has something to say about it!!! Somehow she ends up granting five monsters the power to transform into magical heroes: Pretty Cure!

Kaede has no idea what it all means, but hey being involved in some magical girl stuff and getting to live in a monster world? AWESOME!!! :D
