Pinechii

my created species based in my world “Back Home”.

Pinechii are a species of anthropomorphic magical creatures that make their habitat in the deep woodland of the vast forest of pine trees. They make their homes inside the massive pine trees surrounding their home, as well as the large caves and tunnel systems beneath the forest. 

Pinechii are known for their magic that give them many of their abilities, including their horns, and their dragon form. Every Pinechii has a dominant emotion, whether it be happiness, annoyance, etc. a Pinchii feels their dominant emotion, their horns grow longer depending on how strong they feel that emotion. As for their dragon form, when a Pinchii feels they have completed their most successful or difficult challenge of their life, they ‘unlock’ their dragon form, which they can then morph in and out anytime they please. At that point they decide when they want to leave the world, many decide to become immortal.

Other traits of the species are that they can see in the dark, which is very useful as they are nocturnal. Pinchii have wings similar to a bat, and they can fold in and out  at will. Every Pinchii has a tree on their backs, resembling  their habitat and age. A small sprout shows the Pinechii is young, and it continues until they are full grown, with a full sized pine tree on their backs.
