Dinosaur
World Title
Introduction
Hello! This is my dinosaur (and other extinct creatures) world. It's not necessarily a story, rather the whole thing should be seen as a hypothetical videogame. I got the idea while i was in the middle of my Breath of the wild phase, so yea. The idea is the following: The game takes place in the far future, after some wars and stuff have happened. At some point, scientists figured out a way to revive extinct animals. The process became easier and easier, until some even figured out how to manipulate genes, giving the creatures whatever traits they desired. Eventually the first 'Mutant' was created, a giant bird known as 'The skyscraper', which still roams the sky today. Some Mutants were created solely gor the purpose of war, but turned against the entire human race. This, along with radioactivity in the air and protestors burning down laboratories all over the world and freeing the animals held captive there, resulted in the majority of the human race being erased. They only settled down after a few years. A lot of the now brought-back creatures had unstable DNA, and ended up picking up traits from animals nearby until they were stable. The game takes place in an unnamed world (very large hypothetical map) with a variety of different environments (yes ik its unrealistic for a desert and tundra to be this close to one another but shhh). There are only five towns.. Basically the concept is quite similar to botw, you can go wherever you want and explore the world. You can fight the dinosaurs, hunt them, study them, its up to you, the hypothetical player. A map (made in worldbox and not fully correct) can be found below.
Brachylag
Brachylag
Description
Brachylag is a huge area located in the middle of the map. It consists of one huge island and it's border are the tundra and mountains. Brachylag is arguably least hostile environment, most of the creatures inhabiting it are either friendly or easily avoidable.

Brachylag Forest
This forest should not be entered without proper weapons, it is inhabited by hostile creatures that are not easily impressed. Dire wolves should be avoided at all costs, unlike the Sinofrogs and small avian dinosaurs such as the Microraptor .Compared to other forests in this world however, its realtively safe..

The Brachylag Grasslands are semi-hostile, but safe to navigate with the right equipment. They are inhabitet by a few dangerous creatures such as the green-fronted velociraptor and the phorushacos. It is recommended to quitly travel at night.

The Bry fields surround Fla'u. Due to most creatures avoiding the city, it is quite secure.

A medium sized city. It is one of the only towns in the world to have survived the war and mutant attacks, which the inhabitants take great pride in. It is protected by a long wall, as well as several towers for lookout. This is the starting point of the "game". Despite the cities semi-medieval look, it has advanced technology.

Jāeger
Description
Jāeger includes the tundra, mushroom forest and the acid isles. While the tundra can be realively safe with the right equipment, the other two places are quite dangerous in comparison.
