General tidbits:

• The story is set on an island with a tight-knit community. The main characters are a found family of sorts.
• 21st century technology exists, but to a lesser degree due to the remote area.
• Everyone’s clothing is waterproof to account for their aquatic nature.
• The anthro forms swim like their species normally would, but tuck their limbs to the side like a crocodile.
• I have no idea how the feral forms work in relation to the anthros. I usually just think of them as alternate universes, but the idea of them being transformations has jokingly come up before. If anyone has any other ideas, feel free to bring them up to me.
• They use sand dollars as currency for the pun.
