Phobias are physical embodiments of fear, feeding on fear and sometimes flesh. A new phobia can always be born as well as die when it get's fully forgotten. It's a powerful creatures and the more common the fear, the stronger and deadlier the phobia gets.

Body types

• Hidden Form: Whatever the standard form in their current dimension is. Phobias are sometimes hidden around under normal people to either live peacefully and casually absorb fear or to lure people in and the attack/ forcefully feast on their fear.
• Phobia Form: A phobia's form depends on their last prey's imagination and how they see/ imagine their fear to look. Of course these can be modified to be more terrifying as well as a different form being recalled.
• Normal Form: Often just a more spookier version of how the phobia looked before death, these can change depending on the phobias strength and how many times their stone has been damaged. When the stone is removed, they turn into a corpse or if the body has already rotten too much, a more younger corpse before rotting has set in.
• Other Forms: Animal Phobias can turn into their specific animal or modified versions of it. While human phobias can also turn themselves into different human beings. A phobia who lived under people for multiple times, can also turn themselves into them from past lives though this takes a lot of energy.

Homes

Phobias do have a place to call home. Each type has it's own island, led by a mostly human looking creature that is supposed to be like a mother for them. This creature isn't powerful but, so respected that nobody thought to take any of them down.

Enemies

There are creatures called indagator's (huntsmen) who solely exist to get rid of phobias in the different worlds. They're also the only being who can fully kill the human form with special weapons. Some also catch Phobias as test objects to find out how to entirely get rid of fear.

Illness & Death

The phobia itself can't get sick, since it's basically just a blob of manifested fear. But their human forms can, though some illnesses, for example sexual diseases or the flu, will be immediately destroyed. Phobias can't really die, the body that posses the gem can be replaced but, as long as people fear, it's not going to die.

However, their human versions can but, even that is a bit more complicated but to keep it short: Things like shot wounds, being cut into bits, suicide, etc. kills the human body, but depending on the damage dealt, it will respawn in the same life though sometimes it's going to take a while. Things like special weapons, old age will kill the human body fully and the phobia will be transferred into a new life.

If the stone itself is shattered, it will take time to rebuild itself and the phobia will return, mostly with a more upgraded look. If the gem is removed, the phobia will slowly return into their dead self and the stone can be replanted into another body. If not put into another dead body for 24h, the stone and it's powers will reset and all of it's power will be lost, now usable to create a new and different phobia.

Steps of becoming a phobia

• Phobias can't reproduce, you can't really smash two fears together and create another. Though in a Hidden form they definitly can but, no phobia powers will be transmitted.

• 1ST STEP: EXISTING

  First off, in normal circumstances, a phobia was once a living, breathing human being. Of course there can be exceptions, though these are rare and the being still needed to breath at least at one point. Humans are just more common since, humans have more developed fears.

• 2ND STEP: DEATH

  For a rebirth/possession to happen, you mostly have to die first. How you die isn't really necessary related to which phobia you turn into.
• 3RD STEP: CREATION

  The biggest part that plays into the rebirth are, like I said you not breathing anymore and a neutral stone. Normally, those stones are located somewhere inside you,most common in the eye. Now, this little stone doesn't decide really which phobia you will be unless is has been ripped out of another phobia and hasn't already been reset after 24 hours. It depends more on your life,for example: Cat lover, owned a cat cafe (Ailurophobia - cats)

  But, sometimes it's not that obvious, for example: Professional swimmer, loved the ocean (Bathophobic- depths)

  Sometimes it has to do with your surroundings, your lifestyle, your favorite things or even just your nationality. As soon as your body comes in touch with that stone, you have successfully transformed into a phobia,
