Beside the Stream

An injured man wakes up in a medieval fantasy world with no recollection of who he is, where he is or how he got his injuries. Sometimes he wonders if this world is even real, or just an elaborate creation of his mind.

He meets a former soldier by the name of Quentin Simind, who warily offers him help and nurses him back to health, giving him the temporary name, Sparrow. Together, they work to try to help him regain his memories.
