Sapphira absolutely adores Thor, he's her big brother and she loves him. She noticed pretty early on that Art got more attention from their parents, particularly their mother, and that Thor seemed to feel left out - so Sapphira made it her mission to make sure Thor got a bit of special attention from herself. She understands why Artie needed the attention, but while she loves Art Thor is her favorite brother - her favorite sibling period. As a pup she liked to follow Thor around, nagging at him and pulling little pranks. She didn't hide at all that she loved her brother and didn't seem to notice he was awkward with the constant PDA.
Sapphira doesn't scare easily, she's confident and proud, but when she does Thor is the first one she runs to for help. She has no issue barging into his room at any hour of the night, barreling into him and snuggling up tight after a nightmare. If she's ever intimidated by anyone, ever bullied, her first defense is always "my big brother Thor won't let you get away with this (and he's a prince)." She views him as her protector, her big brother who will always be there for her.
That being said Sapphira can and will bully Thor herself, dragging him into tea parties with all the family pets. At first she only served him water but relented and let him drink tea with her pretty quickly.
"It's a tea party, Thor, not a tea pArTy."
Sapphira is her mommy's little princess, she adores dressing up and attending events with her mother. She's got this princess thing down to a T and fully embraces her role. She likes inviting their mother to her tea parties with Thor, showing off all she's learned and scolding Thor for "not being more lady-like" (as he is her fill in noblewoman). Sapphira works hard to impress her mother, to be the perfect princess, and while she likes to goof off and pretend she has no cares in the world she'll spend many nights staying up late, studying by candlelight, rehearsing what she learned in her lessons with her mother that day.
She doesn't get to see her mom as often as she'd like, royal duties keeping Keitra away, and she appreciates all the moments she can steal - especially since her mother is clearly tired but still making an effort to make time for her kids. Sapphira likes to show off what she's been learning and really really can't wait until she's old enough to be able to help her mom with her duties, able to take some of that weight from her shoulders.
Baron loves his wife and everyone knows it, in fact, everyone knew before Baron did that he was head over heels for the princess. He used to pretend he was going with his father to the castle because he was interested in politics but would sneak off to spend time with the princess at every chance he got. Apparently only Cylex managed to miss this.
After his stint as a wanted man, Baron realized just how much Keitra meant to him and the fact that she waited for him and was always there for him even in his darkest days really showed how much he meant to her in return.
Nowadays Baron is mostly a stay at home dad to their four kids and numerous pets and it's no secret that he misses his wife every day she goes to work and is the first to greet her when she comes home.
Both his daughters remind him of his deceased sister Roma, it's a bittersweet feeling for him to watch them grow and be reminded of her. Especially with the pranks. And the running off unsupervised. Oh boy the running off unsupervised. They give him heart attacks just about every day and Baron really starts to understand what his own father went through. Sapphira at least has Thor watching over her, even if the two of them in Sapphira's teenage years are horrible pranksters.
Sapphira loves her dad very much and appreciates all he does for her and her siblings as a house dad. She takes him for granted sometimes, knowing that whenever she needs him he'll be there to help her with whatever she wants. She doesn't realize quite how much she relies on him but she really does, a lot. That being said her favorite form of affection is pranks and her father is the subject of many. Too many. Poor Baron.
Ruckie really likes Jaella and he wants to impress her and make her laugh, and when he spends time with her he feels less worried about everything. He loves convincing her to read aloud to him, knowing she can't resist his charm. They'll lay together in Eric's library with some research books, Ruckie listening to her voice, relaxing, pretending he's paying attention while Jae pretends to scold him for not paying attention despite them both knowing he's most definitely not paying attention. But he gives her a cheeky grin, and sweet words, complimenting how pretty her voice is and Jaella just can't stay mad at him. Not that she could be mad at him to begin with. Look at that face <3
The only one Ruckie feels like his curse doesn’t extend to (besides Vaea of course) is his Nana Jay. He's able to spend his days in peace with her, nothing ever happening besides his Nana quietly going about her day with him trailing along beside her. One could call the days he spent with her boring, or even dull, but the lack of anything was a welcome respite to the boy. He could often be found sleeping nearby Jay as she went about her chores for the day, the only time Ruckie ever got more than a few hours of fitful rest was in the presence of his Nana.
Ruckus is a ghost who will 100% throw hands if he had corporeal hands, he's not fond of Evil and he's not afraid to show it. What could have been a friendly rivalry ended up more of a snarky one and Ruckie spends a significant amount of his free time thinking up new comebacks an' remarks and trying to figure out how he'll get his insults across the realm to Evil. Ruckie tries hard to play nice when infront of Jaella but he thinks she knows about the not-so-secret rivalry of too sharp smiles and words that these two of her boys share. Just as Ruckie not-so-secretly enjoys thinking up new insults, he not-so-secretly goes wild whenever Evil takes advantage of August's docile nature. If he could haunt Evil as a poltergeist he would
At first, Evil was thoroughly concerned, if not somewhat afraid of the said "ghost" that Jea was dating. He wondered if Jea was delusional- and if she wasn't, what did this thing want? At first a little tense, Evil grew more relaxed with the situation and learned that he had nothing to loose if he picked on this "ghost". Besides, the living *always* has the upper hand, right? Right? Often frustrated with the conditions (not being able to see the enemy and all), Evil still find small ways to show this Rukus who's boss- that is- if he still is in the room?
Augustus is lowkey intimidated by Evil, he's never met anyone he'd consider famous before (no Cylex you don't count you're his grandpaw) and doesn't really know how to act around the rockstar. He does his best to be polite and extend a friendly paw but that's singularly for Jaella's benefit as this reserved boy would not have chosen to interact with Evil if it weren't for her. He doesn't really bother to stick up for himself and allows Evil to push him around/bully him, always the first to back down much to Ruckus's annoyance.
Evil feels so extremely superior to Augustus. Evil is famous, Augustus is not. Evil can smooth talk anyone, especially Jea, and Augustus can not. *Clearly* Evil is better than Augustus in every way and Jea should choose him over Augustus 100% of the time. He feels that Augustus has no talent or spark, and is simply just a quiet nerd. Evil has little time for bookworms (as he IS above them uwu), and tends to ignore Augustus. However, he often finds himself making snide, yet *friendly* remarks (incase Jea is within earshot).
After sharing a room with Thor for most of the boys' time growing up, Baron has to admit he's got quite a bond with his rebellious son. They share a weird humor and Bar is more prone to being less than royal in manner when it's just him and Thor. Even though he pushes for Thor to move out already everyone knows Baron will miss him when he eventually does.
Son of Baron
He loves him very very much, and even if he wasn't there he definitely forgives him for doing what he did, so he's not overly hung or embarrassed by it or anything
He may not act like he cares about anything but he'll take a bullet for his dad in a heartbeat, especially since Baron was there to raise him the most
