Vespus

A dog-type Ora that are large, bipedal wolves with large bat wings on their backs. They live in packs in the mountains, often ones covered in forests. They live in large caves that have tunnels weaving through the mountains, hunting in the forests at nights. They're very territorial and are aggressive towards any outsiders. It's forbidden to help outsiders under threat of banishment.

Vespus are very strong and agile, as well as completely soundless fliers despite their size. They have powerful night vision and keen senses, especially hearing and can hear things from several leagues away. They're masters of stealth and experts at battling in the dark. They prefer walking on their hind legs but can drop to all fours and maneuver that way as well. Very few can use magic directly; most channel magic into their bodies to increase their strength and speed past their natural limits, though this puts a strain on their body and leaves them very exhausted.
