Tytabus

Very Large bird-type Ora that resemble owls with long cat-like tails. They're very rare as they reach full maturity at 30 years and can only mate once a decade, often producing only one or two eggs at a time. Tytabus can have a wingspan of up to 100 ft, the smallest being recorded at 42 ft. They're completely silent fliers, and can use their talons like hands and fingers. They're even rumored to have exceptional handwriting. They have a natural thirst for knowledge, though many find a niche to study and become renowned experts on that niche. They use their own feathers as quills. Receiving a personal feather quill from a Tytabus is a high honor as the quills are made to record their knowledge, which is their most precious treasure. Picking out their prettiest and most durable feather and giving it to a potential mate is the same as proposing.
