Starlings

A Kemonomimi species created by me as a way to keep together a multitude of characters under the same name, and connecting them with the same characteristics.
Starlings all have a star marking inside their ears, and have their tails and sometimes head surrounded by little paper or glass stars! The stars give off a smell that represents the Starling's favorite sweet food or drink.
Starlings will gift one of their stars to someone they truly care about; the stars will reform in a few months, so Starlings make sure not to give them away easily.

All Starlings also have a star patch somewhere on their body, usually on their back or hip, and the patch looks almost as if stitched on the skin, although it's not. The patch is in the same colour(s) as the paper/glass stars.

Starlings come in four varieties, but they all have the same canine or feline ears:

- Earth Starling: mammal based Starlings, have feline or canine tails.

- Aquatic Starling: fish or shark based, with tails similar to those of aquatic animals.

- Avian Starling: usually very similar to Earth ones, but with small feathered wings on their backs! The wings can expand to allow them to fly.

- Mythic Starling: dragon based, with a dragon-like tail.

Many Starlings also show body markings: these can be found on their face, arms and hands, legs and feet.
