Circus of nocturne
| "Nocturne" is a dream like realm, and the residents, (which are called "Kalashtar"), live within this realm. there are two parts of Nocturne. Delights Gardens, being where most of the main story takes place, is a very colourful and whimsical place where all the positive emotions of a human resides. the other half, being called Dreads Field, is more sinister since it's home to all the fear and anguish in a humans mind. Kalashtar are the embodiment of a humans dreams and imagination and are born when a baby in the real world starts to have vivid dreams. Dream Kalashtar take on a more silly or friendly appearance, since they represent everything their respective human finds enjoyable. but with everyone Dream Kalashtar comes their nightmare counterpart, which take a more frightening or unsettling appearance. a Kalashtar is met to keep their humans happy and entertained through their imaginations and dreams. helping them grow into and discover the person they will become. When leaving Nocturne and into the REAL WORLD, Kalashtar do not have physical bodies, so they are required to take on the form of a loved possession that belongs to their corresponding human, that typically being a cherished toy of some kind. |
