As with many custom species, there are a few set rules, which are not hard to follow:
•Fox Spirits are old beings, living over multiple centuries, but can alter their appearance to look eternally young if they desire. (Most at this point are between 150-300+ y/o.)
•They can alter their appearance at will, but usually settle on mostly 2-3 forms (humanoid/fox form being the most common)
•Their fox forms are huge, towering anywhere from the height of a truck to a forest. Some Fox Spirits can hold this form longer than others.
•Fox Spirits always have face stripes, the number can vary depending on aesthetic purposes. Number does not matter, but they have to have them
•Their ears and tails have to be a muted version of the base hair color and always fade into a darker color on the tips
•Fox Spirits’ hair color can be any color under the sun, but it has to fade into an ombre of another color on the ends. Hairstyles are up to your own preferences
•Fox Spirits LOVE eyeliner/eyeshadow/makeup and tend to care a lot about their humanoid appearance.
•They can have anywhere from 1-9 tails depending on their Karma (how good or bad they are as a person) and the more tails they have, the stronger they are. They can lose or gain tails after a few centuries depending on how kind/good they prove themselves to be.
• Can be male or female
•Names are based on Japanese names, but do not have to be official Japanese names (but they can be)
• Ears can be pinned back or forward, depending on design choices.
• Fox Spirits all have claws, and need them for self defense. Some like to accessorize by painting them to match their wardrobe.
• Outfit choices are up to the creator. This world allows from anything from traditional Asian clothing to modern styled clothing.
•All sexualities/identities are valid for this universe so have fun <3
•Fox Spirits can have weapons and/or magic abilities, which is up to the creator.
•They can have whatever you desire as an occupation as long as it is not overpowered. There is only one deity in this universe though.)’
