Convergent Paths

Everything lies on a path, a road ahead. Along such path, you see the parallel lines, each which shall never interact with the others. Then, there's a tilt. Even the slightest tilt will result in the converging of these paths, to a single point. And now? A story is being told from that intersection.
What shall this intersection of paths lead to? Destruction and despair? Or peace and happiness?
