This is how I determine what species each dragon ends up as, with some minor variation. 

Fae -> Halfling

Guardian -> Orc

Mirror -> Gith

Tundra -> Beastfolk

Pearlcatcher ->Gnome

Ridgeback -> Goliath

Snapper -> Half-orc

Spiral -> Half-elf

Skydancer ->Elf

Bogsneak -> Dwarf

Imperial -> Human

Nocturne -> Goblin

Coatl -> Gensai

Wildclaw -> Tiefling
