As most people probably know already since I’ve posted it in previous bulletins, but I’ve been struggling with art now for a while now.
I think the root cause may be because I’m constantly comparing my art to other’s and setting high expectations for it. If my art immediately doesn’t look how I want it to, I spiral and the drawing continues to get worse Until I eventually give up. I’m constantly critisizing every little detail, even ones that most people won’t see. I dislike how I draw noses and eyes, they don’t look as great as other artist’s I admire, and overall I’m just never happy with my artstyle.
Does anyone have tips on how I can avoid this? I want to enjoy art again, but it’s hard when I’m constantly criticizing myself
I’ve been much more inactive in terms of art and posting, unfortunately things haven’t been going well since October. I’m desperately hoping things will speed up again in my progression, but things aren’t looking bright right now.
This also leads me to burning out and losing interest in OCs. I’ve lost attachment to many, so I’d like to clean them out

Helloooo I have this design concept I’ve been working on, but I’d like to see how many people are interested in it Before I finish it. I dont know if it’s good or not, so I’d like to get other’s feedback first! I may end up scrapping it and keeping it in my Scrapped Designs tab
Concept: Eyeless goat hybrid living far up in the mountains. She has been lost for a long time up there, misunderstood by humans. Rumors say that when you hear the sound of her bells up in the mountains, she is searching for a soul to take as her own. Or maybe she’s just lonely And Searching for a friend.
