Darakon (dragonfolk)
(WIP)
Once resembling a variety of reptilian people, it is said that they were long ago blessed by the greatwyrm Darak with with their draconic power in order to repel invaders in an ancient war. While they have since lost this powerful blessing, their appearance was forever changed. Some say though, some non-believers were not transformed (These are possibly to the kobolds and torga).
Diet: Darakoni are obligate carnivores and their diets in their native lands consist of primarily fish, amphibians, and poultry which they commonly have large hatcheries and farms for to mass produce. Many practice various forms of cannibalism.
Gender and sexual dimorphism: There is little to indicate the sex of an individual if they are fully clothed, since they do not have breasts or much else body-shape wise to distinguish (they do have pectoral muscles though). Their societies do not put much importance on binary gender identity, most adopting a fluid expression. Biological sex is only relevant when discussing reproduction. In most Darakon cultures, jewelry is often worn to indicate identity and romantic preference if they are seeking a partner.
